I was looking for something to secure torroidal cores/inductors and a transformer to my PCB on a radio project and it was easy to apply. Precise application (a dab on components) and a dab on nuts to secure and prevent loosening. Give it a couple days to fully cure and it IS Tough!This has made my finished board more robust and durable for travel. Highly recommend.Some reviews are out and out inaccurate... this is NOT silicon grease and Not a Traditional Adhesive as in glue.... it is similar to a caulking sealant, only in a small tube for small applications.

This worked very well for installing a pcb in a housing and attaching it securely. Regular silicon or RTV will attack the pcb traces - this product will not.

After shopping all around town, because the sales folks in our small community did not understand the usage of Electronic Grade Silicone. I as usual, turned to Amazon for the product I needed. Well it worked, the Silicone is holding in place, two MIcro-SD cards in a Hammond XK-5 with out the fear of the Micro's popping loose...The only complaint is that the Silicone is Black and not the typical Clear. I guess the Black shade indicates that it is Electronic Grade.Enjoy,dmc

Utilisé pour rendre étanche boitier plastique (contrôleur thermo piscine) dont le filage en sort et doit être installé à l'extérieur, on verra avec le temps sa durabilité, s'enlève bien et maléable comparé au silicone (plutôt permanent) d'une autre marque plus cher et difficile à enlever ! ... Donc on peut réparer ce filage lorsque requis (selon saisons) car il peut s'enlever plus facilement sans briser le boitier, plus flexible. Il m'a été recommandé par kkun qui connaissait ce produit. À l'essai et jusqu'à maintenant je l'aime bien.

Good quality stuff, used to secure capacitors and screws for an amp repair. Has a very slight rtv smell to it. I'll report back once this stuff has set up (full cure is 7 days).

Standardized Measurements would be nice!It is also not an adhesive (which I am aware of) but it is misleading to others.I use this compound to seal the ends of custom length LED strips for outdoor installations. So I go through a lot at a time.While quickly needing to order some for a project I selected this as I use ChipQuik for Flux. I ordered thinking it was a nice price for something the size of the ASI 388 2.8 Ounce tubes that I normally use. The deceptive use of grams instead of Ounces made me assume I was getting 2 Ounces of the stuff not 20grams. I was not happy to see that I received a tiny little container of Silicone. I now have to not use the Amazon App for purchases as these details are too easy to miss on a mobile device.Amazon refunded it without a return (thanks!) but I still have to order a proper sized one as this is not nearly enough to finish a project and I doubt it will stay uncured for long after opening.
