The product I received leaks. The fact that it is leaky kind of defeats the purpose of having a check valve. I wish I had looked closely at the reviews before I purchased.

Have been dealing with a loud water hammer whenever the sump pump went on. Replaced the valve with this beaut and no more waking up in the middle of the night. Presto!

I bought this and another check valve as a backup. The valve works but the length is short by about 1/2 inch than a typical check valve. The overall length is long enough for one of rubber boots (top or bottom where you connect to PVC pipe) cover PCV pipe for a hose clamp. It works but I’m concerned it might come loose as sump pump runs daily multiple times. I need to keep eye on it.

Currently this works as it should but am very doubtful that it will hold up for long. My sump pumps run every 10-20 mins in spring and it feels way to flimsy to hold up. Will update as time goes on. Easy enough to install though the clamps don't thread nicely like store bought ones. BF said - wow can tell this is a china product... Hopefully I am wrong because I really don't want to replace this again...
