Review of Signs Authority Light Clips, 200 Pcs - Black Heavy Duty Gutter Hooks for Hanging Outdoor String Lights on House, Roof, Gutters, Windows - Quick All-Purpose Clip Ideal for Metal SidingQuality:Good. The clips are well-formed. No sharp edges or outflow. They're strong yet flexible.Impressions:I really like these clips. They are so versatile. They easily slide onto gutters or roof shingles and hold the C7/C9 lights straight and proud. But where we use them in on our privacy fence. We fit the square end over the pickets that are 1/2" wide and use that to hold the LED string lights in place. Works perfectly and they're easy to place and remove. We recently got lights that have more color options so we'll keep them up all year and adjust the colors to match the holiday. We'd been using the white clips for Halloween and Christmas but since they'll be up all year we wanted more clips to keep the lights secure. It's my understanding that black plastic is more stable than white so we'll have to see but the white ones held up just fine over the winter. I'm hoping these are good in the sun and warmer weather. The clips have a lot of options for holding lights in place whether it's a roof, gutter or fence and works with all different types of lights.I was quite happy to see these offered and be able to add some brightness to our property and keep the lights secure.

I didn't want to staple into the side of my roof so I got these light clips to slide under the shingles, and they work well. I am happy that I don't need to damage my home to hang some holiday lights anymore. The clips are a bit weak and flimsy, but a good value for the quantity and usability. I took a picture of a clip on my chicken brooder to show the shape of the clip and will attach here. I feel that the clip is more sturdy when the flat side is on the top for a metal roof, and for a shingle roof the flat clip just slides between the shingles to hold well enough for a wo ter season. The bag has a ton of clips so I was able to wrap the whole house in lights by putting a clip every 2-3 feet. I'll have to buy another bag for the barn lights next Christmas.I am thankful to have clips like this so that I don't need to put staple holes around my roof.Installation is a breeze, just slide it on and connect thr light to thr clip.

These are not especially heavy-duty, but they work fine, and I think the current $15 price is a good value for such a big bag of clips. The roofing side of the clip has friction patterns in the plastic so it grabs better, but otherwise they're pretty simple -- just as described and pictured. No complaints.

I like this kind of clip for Christmas lights, as they let me attach the lights easily and without any potential damage to the roof. These Signs Authority clips, though, are quite a bit nicer than the ones I had been using. The old white ones were nowhere as durable; they were lucky to make it through a season before they began to fall apart. These black ones are much better made, and I like they way they blend into the roofline more than the white ones; they let the lights be the center of attention at night, and don't stand out during the day. These clips are both easily placed and removed, and hold the lights securely. We had some pretty strong winds at one point, but these clips were unfazed in keeping the lights securely. I mostly appreciate how these clips appear likely to be in use for several seasons to come, you get a lot of them, and they just work well. Good product.

These light clips work great with my christmas lights. They slide right onto the single with no problem. They hold the C9 out C7 lights easily. They are easy to install and remove and i feel they will last a few years.

I was very disappointed in this product, because it would not stay in place when I put it on the metal roof the lights that I attached to them pulled them right off and the lights were plastic could not get a good grip with these.. lucky me I got 200 of them.

As easy to use as other light clips - just slide one side over the lip of your gutters or clip to the drip edge. They are a bit too forgiving and are made to clip to the bulb base directly instead of being multi use like hanging via the cables for using with icicle lights or fairy lights. Simple modification (I used twist ties) keeps the clip end closed for using it to run string lights. They work fine and being in a bag of 200 you should have enough to run at least 50 or so feet if you clip to each bulb (of course that depends how many bulbs per foot your lights have obviously) and much longer runs if you use them just as hangers on the wires.
