Needed clips for our siding as our black clips would look awful, so gave these a shot. So far, after a few months of very warm, humid, and sometimes rainy conditions, these string light clips have held up to the test. Very strong adhesive backing helps, but be sure to thoroughly clean the surface you intend to stick them to to ensure long lasting adhesion. Also, I would recommend attaching the cable to the clip before hanging to not put stress on the adhesion.

This is a really helpful tool and I'm really glad I got these. I wasn't sure how well they would hold up, but after a few weeks of testing and waiting they are holding up well.

In opening the shipping envelope, there was a hard plastic box that, when opened, held fifty adhesive clips. The box is reusable and is good for storage.The clips are hard unyielding plastic, attached to a thin adhesive backing. To pull off the backing, you can bend a corner a little bit and then you’ll be able to pull it right off and place it onto the surface where you need it to go.When you place it on the surface, it sticks strongly to it. I applied it to wood siding, fence posts, and metal gutters. It was immovable once I did so. Make sure to clean the surface before attaching these to anything, as it could affect the adhesion.Because these clips are clear, they blend well with whatever surface they are stuck to. They don't stand out like a sore thumb as a result and are unobtrusive when placed on something.The adhesion strength works well and can handle wires and cables with ease and without breaking. I used them to hold up outdoor string lights in my backyard and plan to use them for the winter holiday lights in front of my house as well. They’ve been rained on repeatedly since I installed them a couple of weeks ago and didn’t lose any adhesion afterward either.These are versatile plastic clips that can handle any surface, indoors or outdoors. These might even be great for hanging things in a college dormitory room. Removing them might require using a screwdriver to peel them off the walls though. I’m not sure if it will damage the wall or not if you try it, as I haven’t tried this myself.Overall, their adhesion is strong and they seem like they will stick to any surface for a long time.

Just peel the back part off and place in your location. Easy installation. Sticks very well and is sturdy. I had to pull a few up and move them over a bit so I used a little hot glue to restick the ones that lost too much sticky when I pulled them up.
