All of my photos have the camera exposure tweaked to best match the in-person brightness. Photos are usually too bright or dark, but this is the closest representation I could get.Placed on the ground, you could place them up to 8' apart and still have your entire path lit. As you raise them, the light is cast farther out. Placing one about 4' in a tree gives a 5' radius.The cold white gives off more light, but I think the warm white has a better look.Both modes give off a good amount of light without blinding you at night. The rippled reflective piece inside and the textured clear plastic does a good job diffusing the light.They're made of pretty lightweight plastic, but as long as you're not kicking them, they should hold up for years. The base comes with holes to screw them into whatever post they're mounted on. They shouldn't be falling or getting knocked around much.I prefer these to my current ones as they have the 4x4 post mount option. My old ones use 1x1 posts and bumping against them is enough to snap either the post or plastic. These ones should be much more sturdy.They're a nice looking option for your yard. Much better looking than security spotlights that scream "paranoid neighbor" lighting your lawn like a prison yard.

Excellent product. These solar pole lamps are well made. They are bright and easy to set up. They have a switch that easily allows you to switch between yellow color and white led color. I prefer the white led color since it looks more modern and brighter for me. They assemble pretty good. Provided hardware is a bit cheap i had a couple of screws brake off on install. I had to use longer screws since my poles were smaller. The plastic material is strong and they have a powerful led bulb. The battery is great. I see these lights on before i go to sleep at night and i wake up before the sun comes up and they are still on as bright as they were the night before. They look great and makes my fence look newer.

These arent that bright, which I was expecting but again they arent meant to be bright just soemthing to emit a small amout of light and look cool, of that they do! Every time I look for soemthing like this the pricing is extremely similar, they do look very modern and got a noticeable design to them which make them stand out! They look really good with a finished porch especially with giving it a bit of light as well! They are made well but I feel like if you dropped it, it may shatter, I have not tested this but just be careful with installing them!Installation is Extremely Simple, Easy and Quick! The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow, I didn't even use them and still was able to install them, Literally is somethi g you can look at and see how to install it, very straightforward and easy! These are definitely something that would look good for a finsish deck and or porch, highly recommend them! There are two different settings, one is the white light and the other is the light orangeish light!

Really nice set of solar powered post top lamps. It's a great deal because you get a full set of 6 lamps and they look great in operation. The lamps function well and I really like the look of the textured lens. These lamps use an easily replaceable AA rechargeable NI-MH so you won't have to throw them away after a couple seasons of use when the battery life goes flat. My only grievance is that although the top of the body is made from "metal," it is extremely light weight and pretty much indistinguishable from an older set of lamps I have that are made from plastic. (Actually, I think these lamps are lighter in weight than my plastic ones.) Anyway, once the lamps are mounted, you won't be handling them so I guess it doesn't really matter what material they are made from (but I am still a little bit disappointed).

First, let me point out these are NOT bright lights. Rather, they are meant to be accent lights on the top of fence/rail posts. I placed them over the 4-inch vinyl post coverings on my deck to replace the decorative caps. The accent light is nice and not over-powering. Each light fixture comes with a reducer piece in the bottom to fit smaller posts and can be removed. Inside each light fixture you will see where a rechargeable battery is hidden. The solar battery on top when exposed to 6-8 hours of sunlight charges the battery for the night's usage. Also there is a small switch which allows you to set the light for Cool Light, Warm Light, or not come on at all. Note the base of the fixture that goes over the post can simply sit on the post...it is a shallow fit. However, there are screws in the box that allow you to securely screw the base down. Also, if your wood post is high enough to the surface, you could screw the base down from inside, with no outside screws showing. It is well made and can be securely installed. The rechargeable battery may last 2-3 years and can be replaced. But know that you could replace the whole unit for close to the same price as the batteries. A nice, inexpensive lighting treatment for your deck.
