We installed these on our new deck. The post were slightly smaller than a standard 4x4 post, so I fashioned a custom insert to hold these. We are really happy with the brightness, and the color options are an added bonus. Highly recommended.

The colour led were nice and way better to have the option of a fixed colour instead scrolling through colours. However my issue is I bought a 8 pack and a 4 pack and the colours of the white leds are no consistent. It’s odd looking and makes the warm white look non usable.

Obvious lack of quality control. 2 work, 2 are dead. 1 worked for sn hour now nothing. And yes, they had a full day of direct sun.What a hassle having constant junk on Amazon like this. Return? Yeah. But there’s the wasted time, etc.how about a bit more QC? I’m sure the majority of buyers would pay a little more for more reliability instead of useless junk.

I live in the country and I have both a foot bridge from my yard to the road and two culverts over my driveway, none of which I want to get hit by plows or vehicles in the snow. I placed two of these on the bridge posts and turned them on red and they show up brilliantly and far down the road so if anyone hits them, they will have been warned. I am going to put in two posts at the culverts for the same purpose. If these hold up over time, they will have been a tremendous value and they really look good too. If I were trying to be decorative, or light the bridge, they'd work great for that too. Love them. So far.

These lights are very bright and functional look really great at night and you can change colors for whatever theme you choose! Also very steardy and easy to install!

These fence post caps were well packaged, arrived quickly in perfect shape, and were very easy to install. The lights are just the right brightness for me, colors are deep, and changing colors is super easy. Battery life seems really good as I installed these at about 5PM, so they didn't have long to charge, and they were still on when I got up the next morning. The only complaint I have is that the white plastic the caps are made from is not as brilliant white as the PVC the posts are made from and the caps look off-white/dull compared to the posts. It's not so much that it's distracting, but it is noticeable. After about a month one of the lights stopped working. Overall satisfied with the lights.

UPDATED: originally there was concern about the lights dying within a few hours, but the review was done during the winter. Since these are mounted on the north face of our house, the winter provided minimal sunlight for these to charge. In the spring, we noticed they would stay on until about 11pm, but now that we are in summer these will last right to the morning. I love how easy these are to change the color, the picture is from July Fourth, but we change the look constantly. The only way to make these easier is to use an app, but that would drive the price up significantly. For what you pay, this worked perfectly for our application. One got knocked off in the winter as well and I accidentally plowed it with my ATV. The housing was cracked since it's thinner plastic, but the light still works just as well as the others.OLD: These are really nice, however the lights only stay on an hour or two. That's the only downside so far, as I love the colors. This happens even on the sunny days.
