This is the old "Defender 20" shoe. These are nothing like the higher-end shoes. They are heavy, narrow, and have questionable uppers. Mine were two years old and the buckle failed. Sidi did not respond to my email. The replacement buckles are super expensive. I finally was able to fix the buckle myself--without their help. The cable had become wound around itself behind the mechanism somehow. I removed the buckle from the shoe and jimmied it for awhile, then gently plied it to open. They removed my old review when they renamed the shoe to "Gravel," so I don't expect his review to hang long. These shoes are worth no more than $50 TO BE HONEST.

Light, sturdy shoes. Great closure system and fit. I’m a US size 13 and the size 48 in the SIDI gravel fits perfectly. Love the look, cleats are slightly recessed and clip into my XT pedals perfectly every time.

Rode these shoes for approx. 3000 miles before the right shoe’s BOA style buckle jammed. Impossible to fix. Going back to ratchet and Velcro style MTB shoes.

My favorite pair of cycling shoes had to be replaced. After a lot of research and trying several pairs on I decided on Sidi Gravel Mountain Bike Shoe. They have excided my expectations. Very comfortable, fit was awesome. Was surprised they came with a shoe insert. Really like the arch support, and light padding. I did buy the shoe according to the sizing chart and it was dead on. Wondered about the single boa crank, but it works and snugs up great. Have been very comfortable on long rides. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Super Sitz, wie gewohnt von Sidi.Trage normal eine Größe 39 und die 40 passt mir beim MTB Schuh wie auch beim Rennradschuh von Sidi! Bin wieder einmal begeistert!
