I received today , I installed it on 1978 Harley FLH . You only get out of it that you put into a project . I had to modify a hole to 7/16 " to through bolt because I mounted to frame and with vibrations on my Harley could strip out threaded hole. I soldered #4 . gauge copper welding lead to copper lugs with shrink wrap for a perfect connection. I also coated all connections with Marine grease to prevent corrosion. All in all the product should work as intended . It will give me a quick electric disconnect just incase a wire chafes and shorts out. Thanks for your product . Also had to relocate trickle charger wiring so it would work with battery disconnected . Have a great day , and fix it yourself be happy.

Installed on a trailer in getting very little use. Turned on and off maybe 4 times, in total driven less than 50 miles, all on smooth paved roads with no abuse or excessive tightening. Broke off at a poorly designed joint making it useless after just 3 months. Big tabs to secure to the battery and cable give the illusion of being solid, all power going through a thin-1/16 inch thick section of pot metal. Total piece of junk

Well made works as designed. I installed it on my travel trailer. Only needed one gave the other one to a friend with same trailer and battery set up.

I would've rated 5 stars if the knob bolts were just a little longer to catch the last threads in brackets, but most are same way. -don't know why.

This is a very good product as an isolation switch. It took me less than 5 minutes to install this device. The device doesn’t infers with anything around the battery. I am using this device on 2002 Chevy Blazer with 12 volts side post terminal. I will highly recommended this product for anyone who needs to isolate (shut off) the power supply from the battery to the rest of the vehicle.

Metal is weak and the threads were messed up within an hour of working. Do it right because if you don’t, the threads won’t hold up. I accidentally cross threaded one of the bolts. It didn’t even take that much.
