Ever since we had a remote start out in our truck it was raining our batteries and the truck has 2. More I can just flip the switches and no more drained battery.

Never can decide in the number of starts but I went with 5 because this does exactly what I expected it would, does a good job, and feels sturdier than the price leads you to believe.I have an oddball setup but the short version is I have an AGM and a LifePo4 battery in my truck. You CAN run without an isolator and I did but decided to add one for running equi0ment with the truck off, I can keep the AGM starting battery out of the picture so startups don't become an issue. Also, when cold my alternator cannrun around 15.4v and the max charge in my LifePo4 is 14.8v, I.can keep it seperated from the alternator until the voltage gets in range.Its a car audio build if you are curious about all the power.No issues from the switch. Satisfying to click into position and locks clearly into place. Decent switch, make sure it can handle the current you push throught it, depending in cerious factors you.may need more than one or potentially need something bigger. I personally prefer a manual switch like this in comparison to a much more expensive auto actuating switch on a relay

Overall i’m very happy with this thing, i like the removable and easily trimmed side covers, the bolts are robust but I did have to un-do and tighten the bottom most bolt to re-snug it to the back of the switch once. It’s very satisfying to use and I trust it with my 12v LFP power system. It’s probably not meant to be an on/off switch but I admittedly used it as one the first couple weeks. Holding up great and i’m honestly super glad I didn’t have to pony up for the much more expensive switches.

This is the second switch that I have bought for my solar system. The first one was still working great and I am now adding another bank of batteries.
