Brings the fixed shower head a few inches further from the wall and more to the point allows the head to be about 2 inches higher, meaning my son who's taller than me can now fit under without having to duck. Perhaps it's not the prettiest solution but much easier than changing the arm that comes out of the wall, and mostly it gets hidden by the shower head anyway.

Easy to install and is as described. I needed a shorter arm for my handheld shower head. The one I had was to close to the door and got the floor wet when I opened the door to get in. Love the 'wing nut' type of adjusters, appears to be well made.

This extension is perfect to offset the shower head from the wall. It feels of high quality, easily adjustable and no leaks. It comes with a washer, optional water restrictor, and Teflon tape. It was easy to install by hand without tools.

Can make your shower into a rain shower almost, easily attaching to head, or taking off head and using hand hold. Matches my nickel finish. Now I can clean myself well too and not shower my bedroom too. Husband hates a wet bedroom.

The rubber washer collapses into the outlet pipe so when you try to tighten it down it makes it impossible to line up so it can be used. Went through 4 more washers from the hardware store that just shredded when tightening down. After installing a stainless steel washer on top of the rubber washer and then another rubber washer I got it to work but there is a design or manufacturing defect. Good thing the hardware store is close by.

Installed easily to existing shower nipple. Sturdy mechanism kept arm in correct direction, even with an 8" rain shower head attached.Finish seems a thin, if tools have teeth it can chip the finish on the arm.
