You have to pay twice, you have to buy kit then pay to have it tested, plus you have to give them your credit card number, as if I would trust such a bad company with my card number.

Radon test for home sale was perfromed completely wrong by tester who also provides remediation. I am a chemist and recognized either fraud or incompetence. So, ordered this test whose instructions are exactly according to EPA guidlines. Used rush service. The test results came back by email from an identified lab person and their contact means. It showed a reasonable result rather than that of the poorly executed or even fraudulent test. I repeated the test with the second test device that came with the package exactly the same as the rush test. The results were the same.

I had never tested the radon in my house and after hearing people talk about it and researching radon I was a little freaked out. Professional tests are about $175. This one arrived quickly and the instructions were very clear. After 72 hours I capped the test off and sent it in the prepaid envelope as instructed. I sent the test on December 11 and got the emailed results December 29 - not bad considering holidays and the test is under $15!! My house tested positive with elevated radon so I’ve called in professionals to mitigate. I highly recommend this test!!

After waiting a week I got an email from Pro Lab wanting payment (which is included in the price from Amazon) I called and was told I had to provide them with a copy of my receipt from Amazon. Better kits out there that doesn’t require all this.
