This product achieved its purpose. I discovered I have mold in my house that needs attention. The Petri dishes come with everything you need to safely collect mold samples. The booklet included has a mold guide and ways to treat it. What I liked most is the prompt customer service they provide. I received a mold identification report within hours of requesting it. I would buy this product again.

This mold test kit It's exactly what I needed to figure out what was in my environment that was causing me so many health concerns. I live in a cold climate so I did have to incubate the mold for a couple of weeks so don't be in a rush. I couldn't quite tell what the different molds were so I emailed pictures to this company and they sent me a comprehensive report within 24 hours! I am very impressed with this company! I would definitely recommend anyone concerned with the type of mold in their home to buy this product. I'm hoping to have the opportunity again to purchase before I move into my next home. I bought this kit because we had a lot of renovations in my house but we haven’t touch the basement yet. I wanted to be sure the basement was safe for the kids. The kit is very simple to use ! We recently had friends that reported health issues due to mold contamination in their home. While their home is decades old and ours is only a few years old, we were concerned about mold in our house. We ordered this product to understand our risk. Turns out our risk was pretty low, thankfully. The agar plates arrived quickly, and the instructions were very clear. I appreciated that I could send pictures of any activity for evaluation. The follow up was excellent and I’ll definitely use them in another 8 to 10 years to see if our mold situation has changed. Highly recommend!

It's not common to find a product that works as advertised. This does. I needed to test for mold at two locations, one being our primary concern at our daughter's apartment. We put out the tests as instructed for one hour. The six petri dishes allowed us to test in four rooms at one location, and two in the second. Didn't see much growth after 72 hours, but waited until after Christmas to look at them again. They had substantial growth by then. Took pictures of both sides of each dish, and emailed them to the company for analysis. Next day we had it in our inbox.The results were definitive. No black mold, but several others were indicated. Nothing life threatening, though. Good to know.I appreciate the ease of use, the quick support and response from the company, and the very reasonable price. Impressed.We will do some remediation and do a second test in a few months.
