I bought this about 10 months ago to replace one id had for 10 plus years. I needed it to work on an old truck i had. Used it once on said truck and one other time afterwards. The rest of the time its in my electrical cabinet. I went to use it about a week ago and it flashed once and is now dead. The inductive pickup is no longer functional is what i didcovered to be wrong after finally tearing it down. I knew i had bought this fairly recently so i looked it up and contacted the sellar. I got nothing but promises to take care of this and now they are not responding. If youre considering this move on. Its cheaply constructed and they will not stand behind it if it breaks. And it will. I normally dont write reviews but im hoping to save someone else the frustration this will cause if purchased. Youve been warned. Stay away

I had it all hooked up, and it wasn't working. I double checked the instructions to make sure I had it hooked up correctly. The instructions are well written and even have a troubleshooting section. The first thing listed for "No flash" was that the battery leads were reversed. I had red (+) to the positive post and black (-) to negative post. I gave it a try switching them. It worked. It's going to bug me, so I will probably resolder the wires to the correctly marked battery clips.Cons: battery leads were reversed from the factory, cheap plastic construction.Pros: price, worked once I figured out the battery leads were wrong, well written instructions if you need them.

This timing light worked for me and seems to be accurate enough to get my truck to run. It is constructed minimally with the least amount of effort and materials required to hold it together. Price is right but don’t go dialing in your 700 horse power 12:1 compression twin turbo boosted death car and expect surgical timing.
