I work on restoring cars. I bought this for the “look” of the timing light. It’s the only vintage looking chrome colored one I could find. Only problem is it’s not the same color as shown in the photos. I received a shiny black colored one. I really like it, doesn’t feel as cheap as some other ones. The leads for it are really nice, the pick up is metal, not plastic that can melt easily. Came in a nice case. Haven’t tried it out yet, but I’m sure it’s just as good as any other.

I bought this to replace a cheaper advance timing light which was way off on the dial calibration. This light is very accurate and works perfectly. Well worth the money in my opinion.

We bought one in 2015 it worked very well. Two years later it stopped working. Sent back for warranty repairs (they had a three year warranty). They did not repair it but shipped a new unit to us. Now, two years later it has died again. The unit looks like new and is handled by professional technicians. While this claims to be professional quality, it is not. Something inside this unit is hobby quality at best. By the way, it now comes with a one year warranty. OTC used to mean pro-quality tools but I'd recommend you search elsewhere for a timing light.

Works great! Price was the same as cheaper brands, we'll see how it holds up long term. I'm a diesel mechanic so this will get limited use on my personal vehicles.
