The Shark Steamspot works great on all of my floors. I have laminate, tile and wood and have been pleased every time I have used it, no matter which one I am cleaning. It allows you to choose between low, medium or high depending on the type of floor and takes about 20 seconds to heat up, then its ready to go. It has constant steam to clean normal dirt and messes then when you pull the trigger a very nice blast of steam comes out the front of it to give stubborn or stuck on stains a good hit, making them easier to wipe up. I found it very easy to use and can move throughout the room as the cord is plenty long. I really like the fact that it cleans and sanitizes without any chemicals. Having several animals running around, I don't want them getting chemicals on their paws then licking them. It's safe, its works great, its easy to use and I highly recommend it for steam cleaning the floors.

Cleans well! Removes dirt and stains, and, for especially tough stains, the blaster definitely helps. The interchangeable pads are great; they provide various levels of cleaning, are easy to install and easy to remove, and can be easily cleaned. I like that chemicals are not needed to provide effective cleaning and sanitation. The various modes make this steam mop quite versatile, and its small, slim size and light weight makes it easy to use and store. The removable water tank makes refills a snap. Seems well made, and Shark's reputation precedes it. Obviously, the price is significantly higher than a traditional mop, but it's worth it for its ease of use, simple cleanup and many features. Recommended!

This is a trusted brand and another trusted product, priced very fair, in my opinion. My old knock-off steam mop was 15 years old and needed to be replaced. What a dream it has been switching to this one. This one is so much more sleek and lightweight! I do wish the cord was longer as it is shorter than my old one and now I have to reconfigure my mopping path according to outlet positions. I fill the tank up and it does last for as long as I need it to, but I do switch to a clean mop head pad at the halfway point. Steam is a much healthier option than the traditional bucket and mop and certainly all of the spray cleaners used with the disposable mop pad brands. I carry a safe all purpose cleaner spray bottle around the house with me and will spray it on areas that need it so it works into my steam mop inadvertently. I love the combination and it all works very well for my home. I highly recommend this awesome brand, Shark, and this particular steam mop!

I really am not a fan of cleaning floors, and never have been. When a product comes along that has the potential to save me a little time or effort in that task, I really appreciate it. Recently, my sister convinced me to pick up a handheld steam cleaner. I expected it to be yet another product that made a lot of promises but failed to deliver - and, wow, was I ever wrong! Steam cuts through grease and grime like it is nothing. I'm pretty much on board with anything that has steam at this point.This little steam cleaner mop packs a reasonable amount of functionality into a fairly small, lightweight package. It has three settings for different surfaces, a couple of mop heads, and was simple to assemble and put into use. After my first test, on on a fairly small bit of laminate flooring, I was a little surprised by how much dirt was on the mop head. With just steam, it did a great job of cleaning the floor. I like that I don't have to rely on solvents to clean up the floor.The only criticism I have, and it is minor, is that the cord is a little shorter than I would prefer. I'm guessing that this was a compromise made based upon weight and expense, so I will be fine with it. At first I thought that the reservoir might be a little small, but quickly realized that it is actually a very good size. It doesn't add appreciable weight and lasts for a while.Bottom line: I am a big fan of steam cleaning just about anything that can handle it. It isn't perfect for everything, of course, but in the correct situation, it does an amazing job. The shark steam mop will be in my inventory going forward!

Right at the time I needed a steam mop for the first time in my life, I saw this item. What was funny is apparently it was SO new that there were no reviews on it anywhere. I've heard good things about Shark over the years from friends, so I decided to give it a shot. I use a Dyson 5 Gen5 Detect for vacuuming carpet and laminate floors, but I was tired of my Swiffer and all the waste and chemicals it used.This thing was great right out of the box! It simply uses water, just plug it in, and set your steam setting! It steams up real fast and works exactly how it's supposed to. Simple, to the point, and does it well, all with nice design and materials without breaking the bank! The re-usable cloth is nice as well. No waste! I would definitely recommend this. :)

I am a big fan of Shark. I already have 3 of their robot vacuums (yes, they all work). When I clean, I normally use a Swiffer wetjet to clean my hardwood floors, but recently it has been getting clogged in between uses. The floor also looks good for about a day before the dog tracts in dirt and then it has to be redone. Normally, it takes me about an hour to do the upstairs wood floor, but with this SteamSpot I got it done in about 20 minutes.This little steam cleaner was extremely impressive. It steams up and really cleans! The white pad was completely brown by the time I was done. Not a paw print or streak to be found. I also used my reusable swiffer pads (because using 1 pad for the whole house would be gross) with this and those worked good too. This does have a cord, which would be my only complaint.
