I live in a 3bdrm apartment with 4 cats, 1 ferret and two teens. My carpet always takes a beating and this vacuum is perfect! Very easy to put together (didn’t use instructions). Maneuverability is nice. Not hard and not totally lightweight either. I did use the roller-brush button for easier vacuuming. The power button is right there as well. I also like the dual canister function. You can empty from the bottom but if hair or dirt is stuffed at the top you can empty for that end without having to do your hand all the way up the canister. It’s not bulky which is nice as well. The cord is long enough that I was able to vacuum my living/dining room and down the hallway while the cord was plugged into the kitchen outlet. The ONLY thing you need to make sure you do is press down a little hard until you hear the “click” for the base when putting it together. I did get an extended warranty (just in case) based off some of the negative reviews I saw. Otherwise, today I’m happy with this purchase.

We’ve had this for a couple months now and it works so well. I board dogs so we get lots of hair in our carpet and this vacuum sucks up sooo much hair and dander, even when the carpet doesn’t look very dry dirty, it still picks up a ton. We used to have a Dyson stick vacuum and it has nothing on this vacuum! It also breaks down and cleans pretty easy which is a huge plus. Although the roll is definitely NOT “self cleaning” like it advertises, when you have long haired people (or dogs) in the house, the hair still gets wrapped around it and needs to be cut out. Maybe I don’t know the correct definition of self cleaning, I’m not sure, but whoever else wants this vacuum because of the self cleaning brush roll, know that it doesn’t somehow clean itself of long hair, everything else about it is great though!

Upon unboxing my new vacuum, I was immediately impressed. Its exceptional performance is a testament to its quality. The suction power is remarkably strong, effortlessly removing cat hair from my carpet and furniture, particularly during my pets' seasonal shedding. In comparison to my previous Bissell vacuum, which was satisfactory, the Shark vacuum is significantly more powerful. My carpets now appear brand new, and I appreciate the vacuum's ease of maneuverability and lightweight design, which contradicts some reviews. Overall, it offers excellent value.

What a GREAT little Machine!! Told my wife, This thing really sucks! But in a good way! Shark is a product we knew from having their cordless handheld "dustbuster type vac for many years.The design is user friendly, it snaps tight when the parts are in place, and the power switch is well located, comes apart easily for the attachments, and the attachments do a good job because the motor is strong and has good suction.The wheels on the bottom make it easy to move from room to room. And it's small enough to fit the spot for it in the linen closet. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase. Speaking of purchase, it was a great price, too. For the quality.

I bought this model vacuum 8 years ago, it always worked great, but it didn't work anymore. So I repurchased this same model. I hope it will last a long too.

pros:-This puppy sucks dirt, pet hair, dust, spider webs, and anything else in the best possible way.-The swivel steering is a very different feel if this is your first swiveler. Being a swivel virgin I'll have to get used to it. It does make approaching a spot from different angles easier.-It feels sturdily built. I worked up a sweat moving it around, unhooking the hand held tank and carrying that around. I liked that I could bring the above-floor wand with it so that I didn't have to squat too much, but when I did the accessory wouldn't lay flat to get the right suction, insert squatting again. Will have to look into other accessories. (later discovered the tool head can be swiveled, there's that word again, to adjust, will have to see how easy that is next time I vacuum)-Did I mention that this thing really has great suction?-The low/floor suction setting is not so loud that my dog was bothered. When I used the high/carpet setting he was out the door.- The suction control slider made it easier to vacuum my bathroom throw matts. It worked especially well on the larger ones, not so well on the small one by the toilet. The vacuum still wanted to eat it. yum yum- The tubing is sturdy and tightly coiled. I hope it relaxes some as it does not give enough leeway while holding the detachable dust cup section.I'll have to work theist cup emptying process out. Like most of these types of tools, when I emptied it a swirl of dust arose from the trash can. It did empty well though. I did not have to reach in and remove any pet hair clumps.- And last but not least, this vacuum got a lot of dust my old one couldn't. I really like that. I hope it lasts.cons:-The cord really is a problem. I get it, with the lift off handle a permanent hook would not work. The little clamp hook by the top cord holder helps, but it still gets tangled. Another clamp hook on the back of the handle would solve this problem. As it is, I held it in the same hand as I held the handle in and it was a bit of a hassle each time I stopped to lift something or change accessories, but it worked. It will get old. I'll figure something out but I would have gathered Shark designers do that.- The dust cup blocks the brush roll indicator light while operating the vacuum in an upright position. Needs better placement.- The accessory holder is useless. In the first room I vacuumed, one or the other of the accessories fell off 4 times before I just took them off and put them aside. Got to another room and needed them so had to go fetch them. Oh bother. Will I have to wear a tool belt for my accessories with this thing?- Will have to figure out a tool for under the bed. The whole upright does not fit and if I use the wand, the little accessory does not lie flat.For now I'll use my swiffer style broom. There has to be a better solution.

Tengo 2 años con el y no he tenido ningun problema con el funcionamento. Lo que si es que hay que darle el mantenimiento de limpieza a las esponjas para que no el motor no se apague. Es un producto bastante bueno!!!! Vale la pena pagarlo!

Producto muy recomendable. Potente, versatil y muy apto para limpieza general del hogar ! Una recomendacion para la compañia productora SHARK es : mejorar la forma de asegurar los accesorios para evitar el constante estorbo de ellos al estar aspirando. La solucion a esto como usuario es de sencillamente quitar dichos accesorios pero, lo practico es tenerlos siempre cercanos a uno !!

I have never owned a Shark product before and infant had never heard of them. This is my first one and I just love it. Its weight and balance is right on. The versatility of it with all the "useful" attachments makes it even better. This machine truly is the cats ass when it comes to build, design, and functionality. Pete
