I bought this to begin creating a junk journal. It is a great kit to get you started and good quality and all you need to bind a group of papers to make a signature for the junk journal.

This is a typical book binding kit. Sharp awl. Waxed linen thread. Accessories. I ordered this kit in 2020 and recently (2023) lost the plastic cap for the awl. This awl is VERY SHARP. So I contacted the seller and asked if they could send me a replacement cap. They sent me a whole new Kit!!!! Thank you to this seller for taking such good care of me. You are Awesome!!!

Be careful of the needles! I have had two of them break off at the bottom of the eye.But the other components of the kit make it a good value and I have other needles I can use.The awl works well although I have since purchased a 1/16” hole punch. I use the awl on a stack of the punched paper to enlarge the holes further. The waxed thread all works great and the bone folders are handy for more than book binding.

This is my first time buying and using a book binding kit. It's a great starter kit and has everything you need to create your own books. I recently started making Art Journals and I am very pleased with the outcome of my latest creation, which is a Birthday Art Junk Journal. The wax string is very strong and in my opinion using less is best so that your book looks neat. I am very pleased with this product.

Used this for craft day with friends - we made little booklets to hold artist's trading cards and Zentangle tiles. Everyone loved the kit! It's like opening a little treasure chest of bookbinding material. Definitely worth the money. The thimble is a little flimsy - if you need one, it's better to use a regular sewing thimble.

I bought these for my university project. My lecturer, a professional printer and binder, commented that these were really great quality for the value and so far I've had no quarrels with it. My only "problem" is it would be better in a nicer box for storage use, but other than that I really like them. The waxed thread is a bit on the low-quality side, however, the bone folder is really great. Would recommend to newbies at binding!

Das Falzbein und die Ahle sind super, der Zwirn ein wenig zu dick für normale Bücher, die Schere... naja... und insgesamt ist es auch etwas zu teuer für die Qualität, aber durchaus nützlich, wenn man keine Ahle hat. Wer eine hat, kauft besser nur ein Falzbein.

Wenn man Produkte schon mehrfach mit Worten wie: Bone, Knochen und co bewirbt und nirgendswo auftaucht dass die Objekte aus Plastik sind gibt es hier einen fetten Abzug. Die Falzbeine zeigen deutliche Linien der Gussformen und bestehen einen Test mit der heißen Nadel leider nicht. Bei dem Preis erwartet man eigentlich keine "echten Falzbeine" aus Knochen, aber die Beschreibung ist dort deutlich irreführend und schlichtweg falsch.Ansonsten: Schönes Set. Alle Produkte funktionieren und sind für den Preis wirklich gut als Einstieg. Daher noch 3 Punkte. Bei passender und korrekter Beschreibung auch locker 5v5

For my first try at bookbinding this kit was wonderful. It comes exactly as pictured. I've bound two books and have no need for any tool that is not included. But there are no directions or explanations regarding a few things. For instance, I had no clue what the small metal ring was or what the difference is between the bone folders. I came back to this site and figured out what the ring was, but still to this day have no clue why or when I'd use one bone folder over the other.Warning...awl is super sharp, going through not only paper and cardstock but also chipboard and fingers (I've literally bled for my art, lol)

Las tijeras me encantan y cortan muy bien, las agujas aún no las he usado pero parecen de buena calidad. El punzón es chiquitín y manejable, los hilos son de los encerados. Lo único que no le gusta son las plegadoras son muy malas. Su canto debería ser uniforme, no se puede plegar bien las encuadernaciónes con ellas

Las plegaderas son de plástico (endebles en mi opinión) y un poco gruesas pero igual me sirven para encuadernar, si es para el scrap regular encuentro que la punta es muy gruesa... Estoy conforme con los artículos
