I have a winter coat with a removeable faux-fur wrap around the lapel area. It attached to the actual coat via small buttons and a several tiny elastic loops. But over the years, that elastic over-stretched and wore out. The wrap kept coming off the coat or just hanging weird. I bought these snaps to replace all the buttons and loops. They were just the right size and easy to snap and unsnap, but never comes loose on its own. I feel like my coat is new again!

I ordered the 17mm size which I will use for dance costumes. These snaps open and close easily but are still a tight fit, so no fear of them coming undone accidentally. I like the gunmetal color because I feel it is more versatile than black or nickel. The price is fine, not great but fine. WAWAK sells there 19mm snaps for $2.98 for a set of 4 snaps so these 17mm are a little more expensive. However, WAWAK does not carry gunmetal.

This is an amazing set of small snaps. I use this size all the time when making doll clothes. It is difficult to find more than 12 snaps at a time. This set of 72 is a dream come true.
