I have 3 UV flashlights, and this one one is both the brightest and had the best price. Of the other two, one uses a single LED like this one, and one uses an older design with 51 dimmer 5mm LEDs. Wearing this frees up both hands for cleaning. The build quality is actually really nice as well. It does not have all those various useless blinking and red/blue modes that other flashlights have, that I always have to click through to get to the one I want. It does have a mode with white LEDs as well, which is handy for checking how my work looks outside of the UV light.

I do UV bodypainting on the weekends and it really helps to have a UV headlamp when at festivals or venues that aren't well-lit. But sometimes I need to use UV lights for 5+ hours and even on a full charge this light doesn't last more than 1-2 hours.

Each headlamp offers two lights in one. I bought it specifically for the UV capability. I fish at night using a 'hi-vis' yellow line that lights up in UV, making it easy to see. I also use it to locate bark scorpions, which glow bright green when exposed to UV. Nice!The headlamp has a motion sensor that allows you to turn it on and off with a wave of your hand—no fumbling for buttons or switches. It also sports a standard white light that is bright enough for detailed work at night, i.e. tying on a new crappie jig. Hard to beat getting two of these at the price offered.

Hands free lets me use both hands to clean up messes. Also wonderful for inspecting paintwork. If you’ve bought a new home you need a black light to inspect the trim paint in the dark because it will show all the splotchy areas where they didn’t cover the primer!

We bought these black lights for night fishing. The lights are small, lightweight and comfortable to wear. The biggest plus for us was how bright the black light was and how easy it was to see with them. Already planning on buying more.

Received this today. And will be returning. It’s not very bright at all. Also it’s not uv. It’s just a blue led.Very disappointed

You never know what you're missing until you own a pair of these. My dumb kitty pee-peed SOMEWHERE in my office on relatively new carpeting. He's a kitten still and loves me to death so I have to give him a pass. Well I used enzyme cleaner underneath my desk because my wife told me that's where it was. Well fortunately or unfortunately we're different races and I'm of the race with a big schnoz so I can smell EVERYTHING! She told me my office didn't smell any longer but she was incorrect according to my nose. I knew I didn't get it. Well I bought this light because I wanted my eyes to confirm what my nose already knew. I turned it on and it was like a murder scene in my office! Especially the closet door on the other side of the room! I would of never guessed he peed all over the closet door. I wasted my time under my desk when it was on my closet all along! Enzyme cleaner is not cheap so this light paid for itself! I cleaned up the closet door and sure enough the smell was gone! the only reason I give it a star from perfect is the light could be more powerful but the fact that it's hands free really kinda makes up for it so you can clean while you see the spots. I highly recommend this product. and two for $11 or one for $8!??! I think you know the answer. It seems a little flimsy as the headband could be thicker for my big head as well but $3 for another?!? I'll keep the extra for a back up.

Works great.It would be nice to have a Wide-Angle setting. The focus is tight and you have to tediously move your head around to move the spot on target.Otherwise, nice, works great.
