Popped in easily to replace cracked stops on vinyl window. The hardest part is getting the old one out. Recommended.

My husband broke one of these window stops and I thought for sure we’d never be able to find another like it. After looking on Amazon we found what we thought would work. I ordered a pack of six (just in case we need them later), and this is an absolute perfect match and fit!! You just snap it on where the other one was and you’re good to go. Once again we can crack the window open a bit and not have to worry about someone pushing it up any higher as long as the stop is set to prevent it from going higher. I am well pleased!!!

Can I say marvelous!? I opened my window a little too vigorously and shattered the window stop that was original on my Pella windows. I think they are the 250 series… But I am unsure on that.Fortunately, I found these they came in a timely manner, they fit perfectly. Now I have five extras so that the next time I forget I have opened the window stops and shatter another one I am set!

Didn't even know what these things were called until a couple of them broke on my window. Was a little wary about getting the right size for these but these were the perfect fit for my windows. Easy to install and work as intended.

I noticed in some states you must use those window vent locks for some windows. These locks force you to unlock 4 different locks on a window to open it instead of the standard 1 or 2. So I wanted to replace those annoying things.Was worried since you can't buy these at the manufacturer for whatever reason, and you don't want to pull out the originals if you don't have something better. However this looked like a perfect match to other safe windows and it was!These are great! They optionally lock of course, they do not interfere with the window path at all, and fit perfectly the Pella 250 series windows to be very clear. They also install in seconds IF you have an empty slot to pop them into. That is the trick!Be careful taking out the old locks. I had to break most of them to get them out. I tried the mallet and putty knife from above, but that puts a lot of force on the normal locks of the window that must be engaged. Mostly you will need a putty knife to pull them out a bit, and decent pliers to pull them out gradually until they can be yanked out safely. It is like pulling teeth - just as stressful too.

This is as easy as it gets to install. It snapped in the slot perfectly and serves the purpose well.
