It is not a vault or a safe by any means. But, it is a good lock box. It is sturdy and easy to use. It has a key just in case the battery stops working or you forget the combination. The price is reasonable and it shipped right away. Great job.

Perfect size, large enough to protect most of my jewelry and other personal items. Compact to hide away out of site. Fits right on my closet shelf. Love the option to mount if I want. Very sturdy and well built. Confident in the security of this item.

I got a good laugh over a few of the reviews that lament that the burglar just smashed this safe and took the money or jewelry - a few in Europe seemed confused. Bottom line: if you have thousands of dollars and high priced watches and jewelry, you need a big safe. Even the $1,000 gun safes that weigh 350 pounds (160 kg) aren't enough to stop a burglar with a crowbar - most gun safes can be peeled open like a tin can. What this safe is good for is to keep kids away from your gun, cash, jewelry, medicine, etc., and to keep snooping house guests, repairmen, and other visitors to your house from casually walking off with your valuables. This safe will protect just fine - but its like a car alarm, it won't prevent your car from being towed and any determined thief can just rip it out of the wall and take it with them. The lock functions well (beep is a bit loud) but for storing a handgun it is ideal. I often put my pistol on top of the fridge when I first come home and then move it to the gun safe later. But with curious kids, its just a matter of time before one of them is up on a chair investigating. I screwed this into a top cupboard in the kitchen and now when I walk in the house I put it in and close and lock the door. I sleep well knowing that if I EVER forget to move my gun to the big safe it is already locked and safe from the kids.

Easier to program than a debit card at an ATM machine, I think. It has two holes on the back with included screws for different types of walls. It has two keys for backup purposes, which I'm very glad for. The key pad is pretty loud, which is a good thing so you know if someone else is trying to open it.I'm not expecting it to be incredibly secure, though. We get what we pay for, but having a fireproof bag inside should definitely help against fires. It should keep things safe in case of an earthquake or something heavy falling on it.

I am more than pleased with this purchase as it is much better than I expected I would end up with when I decided I needed to purchase a small personal safe. This unit is the perfect size for what I needed and then some, but it's still a compact feel. It's good quality, easy to get set-up and to operate, and it's well worth the money and shipping was fast. It's fairly lightweight overall, however, the only minor downside is the door is very heavy in itself so I almost had it fall off my stand until I put it in a better place. The battery life is great as I finally needed to change them after 6mths and I use it almost daily.

Muy practica y fácil para configurar la contraseña y perfecta para anclar en cualquier muro, lo único malo es que con la llave hay veces que cuesta trabajo abrirla

So first of all the safe is pretty cool. It is a decent size and the directions are very simple. My issue is, the keypad does NOT OPEN UP MY SAFE. I have entered my code multiple times and even reset it thinking I may have did the wrong numbers or something. The fact of the matter is everytime I want to get into my safe, I will probably have to use the key and I am technically not in the mood for that. I purchased one for my mom as well and I know she is going to have a fit once she finds out it won't open with her code either. The safe is okay. Definitely not fire proof or water proof, but it does suffice. I will be using my for my passport, birth certificate and some other important documents. Please fix the description and you need to make sure the keypad properly unlocks the safe. I'm definitely irritated and upset about that part. (Inserts angry face).

This is a great budget safe/lockbox for keeping valuables organized and away from wandering eyes.Easy to set up, able to be bolted into the wall, and I have had no issues with the passcode. I tried to mess with the lock for about 45 minutes when I first got it to see if I could pop it open, but it seems fairly sturdy and the door can't be wedged open. The wall-bolt system obviously needs to be put into a sturdy stud or concrete/brick, or you can just pull it out of the wall, but it seems fairly sturdy. Overall, no qualms with the safe.Anyone expecting this safe to be completely fireproof/waterproof and impenetrable has unrealistic expectations. You will need to expand your price range more than 3-fold to find anything like that. For what this safe is, it's a great value and a good way to keep valuables/private items from laying around in the open!

First things first: this is clearly not a high security safe. If that's what you're after, you're going to need to spend a lot more money. What this safe is ideal for is keeping things like guns away from young children—stuff like that. What I'm using it for is a metal fire containment box for my LiPo drone batteries. It's rare for them to catch fire, but it can happen. This box is made from steel, and should contain any fires, should they occur. In the event of a fire, the mounting holes will prevent the box from pressurizing and becoming a bomb.Setup was easy, and everything is working as designed. As long as your expectations are on par with the design of the product, you'll be satisfied.
