Unit has worked flawlessly. Bought to replace window unit. Cools and heats well! Only had to drain the tank 4 times since purchase. I have a different brand unit that needs drained daily…so thankful for the 4 times on this brand!

Just received product. Haven’t used it yet but it has a broken caster wheel. Smashed in shipping. The packaging needs to be improved or leave plastic wheels off and install by owner. Nice looking unit. I will post later after running it.

I tried to trouble shoot and nothing is helping to get this AC down below 80 degrees. It worked SO well the first few days I got it. It was such a relief. And then I dont know what happened. I also find the mode lights hard to read and though there is a remote control, it does not tell you what mode you switch it to from bed. The remote control does not matter to me as much as the AC not working. This is the first time I am ever writing a negative review on a product. Im doing this because I also contacted customer service directly through there company over 24 hours ago and I have heard nothing back from them. Im nervous because it did work so well the first few days, I already threw away the box. I dont know how I can return. Writing a public comment because I want SereneLife to respond to me. I want an AC that works ASAP! Ugh, I hate to write a negative review but heat waves and no functioning AC is not awesome :(

This has been a great addition with the high heat and humidity in the south where we live. We run the extra room AC in our bedroom for a little while before we go to bed so we are only cooling down our bedroom and not the whole house so we can sleep better at night. It definitely helps to ease the wear and tear on our whole house AC and uses way less power. I love that this unit has a built in dehumidifier because a lot of our issues right now are humidity. The remote control is very convenient and if we are going to be out of the house until close to bedtime, we can set the timer for it to turn on early enough to have the room cool when we return.

This 8000 btu air conditioner is perfect size for my bedroom. I love how quiet it runs, it isn’t much louder than running a fan. The temperature is adjustable, I was able to specify a set point and it runs just as much as needed to maintain that temperature. It does a good job of keeping up with the cooling load. Installation is really easy compared to a window mounted unit and I like how it doesn’t obstruct the view. Just a narrow panel expands to fit the width of the window and a hose is connected for the exhaust. The rest of the air conditioner sits on the floor by the window. It will work for almost any window. The air conditioner is pretty compact in size, which is nice. It looks nice and works great!

My boyfriend just moved in and when his PC was turned on it would head up the bedroom to where I had to have my tower fan pointing directly at me and even then sometimes it was too warm. With our set up we thought it would be perfect to try a portable ac unit, and we were right!It fits perfectly in the spot we had available between his pc tower and my laptop and the vent to the window was very easy to install and conveniently placed for what we ended up doing.I velcroed the remote to the front of the unit so it wouldn’t get lost and since we have the unit on a shelf, we use the remove for the buttons instead of getting on our tiptoes to see the buttons on the top.The units a bit loud for the size of this bedroom, but my boyfriend streams and plays games with friends and the unit cannot be heard through his mic (also due to his settings and mic quality. I also use a headset for my computer, which is on the right, so we only have to turn it off if we want to watch something together so we can hear it better.We’ve both said it is definitely worth the money and now I don’t have to tote my tower fan because this room and where we sleep! I would 10/10 recommend!

I really thought this would be a great AC because I have a different model SereneLife AC and its great. I got this out of the box, put it all together plugged it in and turned it on. It was 86* in the house. I turned it to the 'cool' and 'high' mode and waited and waited and waited for it to get cool. It was just a fan. The compressor never kicked on and it never turned cool. I thought maybe it just needed a little time so I went out shopping and came home to a house that was 93* !!!!! All it had done the entire time I was gone was pull HOT air in from the outside! I tried everything - I turned it off and unplugged it, I cycled through all the modes - nothing. Today is the hottest day of the year in Portland (at 104* in my area) and I needed this second AC because the heat was kicking the other ones butt. Dont bother buying it - its garbage.
