Bought these on our recommendation from a friend. Rather pricey, but got a good deal over Black Friday. These are very rigid pickle balls. I would personally not recommend them for summer or warm weather play. They are very hard and adorable but play way different than the Franklin X 40s.But when it comes to winter Pickleball, these are excellent, especially when temperatures are in the 30s or 40s. I play a fair amount and I am still playing with the first two balls I took out of the package. they last forever.A pack of 12 feels like I will have more than I need for quite some time. These are definitely worth it, especially if you can get them on a sale.

Last a long time with constant out door play. Best balls to buy and are great when learning how to spin. The shape does not warp after lots of play but they do get scratched up. Color is bright and helps keep eye on the ball. Performance is too tier no ball drop unless you can control your own.

I see photos from other buyers on here, and I can also attest: DEFINITELY NOT crack resistant. We are just starting out, and definitely do not hit the ball as hard as some of the seasoned players do. We are members at an indoor gym, and play all indoors, about 1 hour per day - no exposure to extreme heat, cold, or moisture. I've tossed away 4 of the Selkirk balls that were about 1.5 months old due to cracks.I'm tempted to rate this as 3 stars, but if we compare the brick & mortor brands we've purchased so far against this Selkirk brand, it seems that the bounce of these balls is more consistent and bounces better. So far I think these are the balls of choice when we play. I'm just annoyed that we've cracked so many in 1.5 months of play when the Walmart brands lasted us through 5-6 months of play. Because of how well they play, I'd say it's fair to do 4 stars.

I think the balls are good. The only thing I dislike is using Amazon. In the future I'm going to go in and buy them in an actual store and not use Amazon. As a retailer you should be aware of this. You may want to find a way around Amazon and send them out yourself.

They last a long time. Great for the outdoor game. The visibility, performance, and bounce are perfect.

Out of the box I absolutely love how crisp these balls hit. They don't compress and lose as much energy as the x40, but they're so close that I can play either no problem. In fact the die hard x40 users didn't notice at all when I didn't tell them prior. We preffer these because they hold up to hard hitting significantly better. We can play hours with the heaviest hitters in the city and not crack a single ball in the winter. Still have yet to break one from this pack. Only downside is the color isn't as vibrant after use as the x40. Would recomend scrubbing it off every once and a while.

We are in Canada so they are not covered under warranty, having said that, we don’t care, we are all using them, they are not lasting a year, but they are outlasting everything else, and you get lots of spin and power out of them,

Although advertised on Amazon.ca, the 1 year crack resistant warrantee is not applicable in Canada. In addiiton, all 4 balls in the package need to break so not much of a warantee anyhow. The balls play well until they go out of round. At a premium price, it's not worth it.

These are probably the best PB balls for cooler weather. I’ve used other balls that crack when playing under 50 degrees. The Selkirk balls has a no crack guarantee which we will be putting to the test this winter. The playability is consistent when it comes to bounce and spin. It seems to deform, becoming more egg shaped, but still playable.
