This is perfect for the price. And really good for starters. I used it for a month. And once I learnt the game I bought the good quality (expensive) one. I kept these for my kids to learn.

when using the paddle, there sounds and feels like there are hollow spots in the paddle, especially if the ball doesn't hit dead center, it makes a strange sound when the ball hits certain spots and the shots are weak.A bit dissappointing

These were the right price to start to learn with. The problem is so many are so costly that to see if you even like Pickleball you have to spend alot of money. These are for beginners I would say ( that is why the rating is lower. The paddles are lightweight but so super lightweight. The bag they come in is ok... not sturdy but ok. I think if you are looking to try pickleball this is a good set to start with! They come as advertised
