The bar is sturdy. It's easy to set up and adjust the horizontal bars, but be prepared to constantly tighten the bottom screws because they come slightly loose easily - then they make a little jingly sound (which I try to not let annoy me).I'd love an option to purchase wood horizontal bars to swap out for the metal.Overall, it's a keeper!!

Impressed! This portable ballet bar is sturdy, doesn’t slip on my tile floors, and took 10 minutes to assemble. I take online beginning ballet class for fitness and this bar is perfect. Excellent value for the price and quickly shipped.

This bar is well built, stable, takes some effort to built, but not bad at all. For those who don't mind metal instead of other texture for the bar, it is a very nice product.

After trawling the internet I decided on this one and I am glad I did. The barre is solid and adjustments are easy to do.(it does help if there are two people setting it up) The instructions are a bit misleading as it looks like you have to put the second barre on the bottom to brace the whole thing. You don't ,and I wanted a double barre anyway therefore it would have been a pity to only have one you can work with. When it came out of the box, one of the feet was bent upwards but my husband flattened it with a hammer to get the screws in. ( No need to return it and get a new one)The poweder coating is a bonus too. All in all ,I am very happy. It's a very well constructed piece and the quality is excellent for the price. Highly recommend this one for every dancer, who wants to have the opportunity to train at home as well as in class. For info, I am 5"2 and the height is perfect for me. Excuse the cats and cat paraphernalia in the pictures, I am using their room (yes they do have their own room),which saves me from putting the barre away every time when I am done with training.

This ballet barre looks exactly as pictured.Minimal aesthetic and all black looks great compared to other options available online with mixed colours. Bar is sturdy and easy to adjust the height. It was very straightforward to put together and took no time at all. Super happy with the purchase!

Having bought and assembled two ballet barres of widely varied qualities, I really appreciate the elegance of this barre's simplicity.Everything that needs to be locked at 90 degrees are locked that way, making it a breeze to assemble and very stable.All the major parts are made of metal, allowing it to maintain its rigidity with a relatively small base.The horizontal bars are locked with screws, making them easy to adjust.The 3rd highest setting is right about waist-height for me (5'8). The options for heights are dense enough that they don't pose major issues, though I do wish there are finer options.
