I absolutely love this ballet bar! It was easy to assemble and I was able to do it in my own. It is sturdy but light enough to be moved throughout the space. I am very happy with this purchase.

After 30 years of not practicing ballet, I decided to get back to it. I chose to do it from home for now and this barre is perfect!!I went with the pinewood double barre black. I wanted actual wood, and after contacting the seller, they told me to choose the Pinewood. I know some reviewers complained that it wasn’t real wood. That means they picked the coated version.The barre was very easy to assemble. I am very happy with the overall quality. It is fairly sturdy and has non slip pads so that it doesn’t slide. However, expect it to wobble a little bit if you put too much pressure on it. I wouldn’t recommend it for a business unless it was for little ballerinas.

I use this barre nearly everyday for my workout and I absolutely love it. It was easy to assemble, looks beautiful and I haven't needed to readjust it once. It's not always as sturdy as I would like (sometimes my balance just isn't great) but that's because it's lightweight and easily moveable. So, it would feel impossible to me to expect it not to wobble a little when I myself, am a little off balance. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants/needs a barre for their workouts.

Sbarra per danza classica, usata in casa per lezioni danza DAD. La struttura è abbastanza leggera, non è fatta per appoggiarsi di peso (ma le ballerine sanno come appoggiarsi delicatamente). La sbarra è di metallo verniciato ma si presenta bene.

I did a lot of research for a portable ballet barre and this one rocks. It's a fake wood barre but from far away it looks real and has a nice, smooth texture to it.It's very easy to change the height of it when needed and its held up very well. I believe it looks the nicest too and looks more expensive than others I've seen. The only "complaint" is that the legs stick out a little further, providing great support, so you just need to angle yourself while doing certain exercises at the barre like grand batements/stretches etc.

We bought this barre for our daughter for Christmas. It looks great!!! It is lightweight and easy for our daughter to move on her own. However, we could tell right away that it would become loose very easy and was wobbly. The paperwork that came with the barre encouraged us to contact the company if we had issues with the sturdiness, and they could give us tips. When we did that, we were told that the the barre we purchased was their newest model and there was no way to make it better. Ok, at the time, we felt like this would do for the little at home practice she was doing. We would just tighten it every couple of weeks. Now that she is using the barre 3x a week for her online ballet classes (COVID) it is becoming apparent that this will not do long term. After an hour of use, it is so wobbly that it has to be tightened before the next use. The legs have always turned easily—now they turn every time she has to move it to the other side and she has to fix them—taking time away from her class. There has to be something better than this.

I am so happy you guys have created a portable barre for at home and other products for people who love to ballet at home! I purchased ballet beautiful and sleek technique DVDs to use. I hate doing hardcore gym stuff but ballet has always been a beautiful workout and works for my body so when I saw this barre I HAD to buy it! It was so easy to put together! It’s also very sturdy and easy to take from one room to another! It’s also very nice looking especially with the wood, unlike other at home barre’s. I also noticed the instruction manual had a page where you get a free leg stretcher and spin disc for free when you order their artan barre! All you have to do is email them your order number! That was an amazing experience because I have been eyeing a leg stretcher so this was a pretty amazing bonus!!! What a great company and customer service!!! I will be buying more products from them and have been using my barre each day!! Thank you again, Artan Balance!!

This is the perfect size for one person to do a barre class at home. It's "sturdy enough" for home practice, but would not hold up to a professional environment. It was pretty simple to assemble, but 2 people doing it together definitely made the job easier. It's lightweight enough to move around easily and stow out of the way. I like that it looks great too - style counts.

Un peu cher quand à l’arrivée on constate que l’acier est rayé mais cela reste un bon produit. La barre est en acier imitation bois.Livraison en avance.

It’s extremely easy to assemble so don’t worry about putting it together. Took less than five minutes. For me the problem is the limitations to range of motion. If you’re doing rond se jambe with one hand on the barre, you’re feet might hit the bottom ends of the barre because of how they made the metal beams point outwards. This barre doesn’t have much stability so you’ll be forced to used more core strength so just warm up before you start any barre work. The good thing is that it does not slide. It is very convenient to have. This is good for home or a small studio, for pointe work. Kathryn Morgan has excellent videos on YouTube for ballet. It is perfect for traveling as well.
