  • Chair and Bed Alarm for Elderly Adults - The Secure PADS-11 Bed & Chair Alarm Set alerts caregivers when a patient attempts to leave the bed. The bed pressure sensor pad is connected to an alarm monitor that sounds an alarm in the room when pressure is removed from the sensor pad. The alarm resets automatically when the patient returns to the pad and can be silenced with a tamper-resistant 3-press reset button. This bed alarm for elderly adults is the perfect monitoring aid for caregivers and nurses.
  • Advanced Chair and Bed Alarm Set - The SUA-120 Patient Alarm Monitor is designed to ensure patient safety. It is tamper-resistant and always on, and there is no unsafe on/off switch that would enable the patient to disable the alarm. It features adjustable volume (80-120 dB), dual alert tone settings, a flashing alert light, and a low battery indicator. The alarm monitor comes with a one-year warranty and a hassle-free replacement guarantee. 3x AAA batteries are included for immediate setup and use.
  • Durable Bed and Chair Sensor Pads - The 12 x 30 in. bed sensor and 12" x 12" chair sensor pads are designed to provide maximum patient comfort. The ultra-thin and soft design makes the sensors unnoticeable beneath the top bedsheet or on a chair or wheelchair. The liquid-proof and latex-free cover material ensures it remains hygienic and easy to clean. Unlike other elderly fall prevention products that use plastic connectors prone to breaking, these bed and chair sensor pads feature durable metal connecting pins that will not break.
  • Nurse Call System Compatible - The SUA-120 alarm monitor can be connected to an existing facility nurse call system to alert nursing staff of unsafe egress (Optional NCI-1 Nurse Call Cable required - Search ASIN: B00A7B7VB8). An optional power adapter can be used instead of batteries for extended use (ACDC-1 Power Adapter - Search ASIN: B00A7B63BW)
  • Complete Bed and Chair Alarm Set - This bed and chair exit alarm set comes with a SUA-120 Alarm Monitor, an Alarm Holder with a Velcro Strap, a 12" x 30" Bed Sensor Pad, a 12" x 12" Chair Sensor Pad, and 3 AAA Batteries. The SUA-120 Alarm Monitor and sensor pads have a one-year warranty with a hassle-free replacement guarantee. Protect your loved ones from falls and give yourself peace of mind knowing that you've made the right choice with our affordable and feature-packed bed exit alarm set for elderly dementia fall prevention.

The Secure PADS-11 Chair and Bed Alarm Set is a safety device designed to prevent elderly falls and wandering. It alerts caregivers when a patient tries to leave the bed. The alarm monitor is connected to the bed or chair sensor pad via a cord and sounds an alarm when it detects that pressure has been removed. The alarm can be silenced using the tamper-resistant 3-push reset feature or automatically reset when the patient returns to the sensor pad. The set comes with an alarm monitor that features 2 tones and multiple alarm sound levels ranging from 80 to 120 dB. The patient alarm monitor is made of break-resistant ABS plastic and has a tamper-resistant reset feature. It also has a nurse call capability (Nurse Call, AC/DC & Y Adapter Sold Separately), an in-room sound on/off feature (when connected to a facility nurse call system), a flashing alert light, and a low battery indicator light and sound. The alarm monitor is powered by 3 AAA batteries, which are included. An optional AC power supply is available, but it is sold separately. The alarm comes with a protective holder and a one-year warranty. The bed sensor pad is ultra-thin and measures 12" x 30". The chair sensor pad is 12" x 12". Both sensors are made of a latex-free cover material with an unbreakable metal connecting pin. The sensors are incontinent-resistant, foldable for storage, and have a 1-year warranty. The Secure PADS-11 Bed Alarm Set includes the SUA-120 patient alarm monitor, protective alarm holder with a Velcro strap, bed pressure sensor pad, chair sensor pad, and three AAA batteries. The Secure PADS-11 Chair and Bed Alarm Set is an affordable patient safety aid that offers more features than other monitoring alarms on the market, making it an effective solution for preventing falls among the elderly, seniors, and those with dementia or Alzheimer's.

Excellent product! Aids in the safety of knowing my mom is getting up during the night. She's 85 and thinks she can still get up and go like she used to. But has had many minor falls. Now we know when she's trying to get up and can get to her.

Worked really well for my dad after his stroke , needed bed alarm for middle of the night when everyone asleep . It is very sensitive and easy to use . Very loud and annoying as well but does the job of alerting , avoiding possible danger for who ever is getting out of bed on their own .

The products work fine. However, there is only one monitor box for two pads. I would have preferred to have to monitor boxes - one for each pad - so I do not have to unplug and plug in when patient (husband) goes from room to room. It's just one more thing to have to do - which should be necessary. I would like to purchase an additional monitor box - since one did not come with each product, however, I haven't been able to figure out how to do so.

This alarm was not the best choice for my mom. The assisted living facility thought she needed one, but she gets up and down on her own too much for this to be practical. The on-off switch is tamper-proof and you have to use a screw driver to access to make adjustments. You can turn off the alarm when it sounds by holding down the button for a few seconds. My mom has Alzheimer's and was upset with the noise this made when she stood up. She would be this way for any product like this, so that is not a negative about the product. She was in an assisted living facility and they just wanted to be alerted when she got up. She is able to get up and down safely most of the time, so she is not really ready for an alarm of this type. If she gets to the point of really needing a product like this, we will probably get one that does not require a screwdriver to access the adjustment panel. That is really my main issue with this particular brand. Also, the included chair pad and bed pad are nice, but there is only one alarm unit included, so you would have to buy an extra one if you wanted to keep both in place, or you would have to move the control every time the person changed locations. That may not be a problem for most if a person is truly chair- or bed-bound. My mom is not. She is very mobile and we are not using alarms right now. She moved to a different facility that has not required one yet. I am sending this back.

The final product was useful. But the product was broken when we first received it; the company wanted to charge us shipping for the replacement alarm. After speaking to the president, they allowed that they would send the "working" alarm this one time!! I didn't feel like we should have to pay to receive a working brand new product!!
