Works well, easy plug and stick, bada bing bada boom, you got a doorbell!!! When people knock on nextdoor I would think it was mine, not anymore. Also im in A apartment... The sound is very digital, nothing like the old school like My Moms house.

We got one with two buttons and two receivers. The receivers are great because you just plug them into any inconspicuous outlet. We have one upstairs and one downstairs so we can always hear the doorbell. The buttons are simple and just take a 2032 flat battery. I doubt the batteries will need to be changed often. There are a bunch of songs available. We found the two we liked best and configured it so each button triggered a different song. That way we know whether the front door or the gate button is being pressed. The connection distance is pretty decent -- I had no issues. One tip - they come pre-programmed. It's easy to change the song, but by default it will be the same for each receiver and button. If you want them to trigger separate tunes, you need to clear the programming first. It says this in the manual, but for some reason it took me awhile to try that. These are much better and cheaper than the old school door bells we bought at Home Depot.
