I love how it takes the guess work out of the canning and I can do other things while it works. It tells me when the jars are sterilized, ready to fill, how long is left , when it’s done cooling, when it’s complete.

This product does NOT work for the Presto digital canner!!! The picture this company shows that canner and should be considered false advertising. It fails to seal the canner properly so it can get up to pressure. Only order Presto parts directly from the company! They give great service and they know your product. If I could have given it zero stars I would’ve!

Used a bunch for 2 1/2 years, loved it. It went bad recently and started popping breakers. Had to throw away but did buy another. Hopefully get more time out of the new one. I feel I used the first one enough to pay for itself.

I have been canning for over a decade but always felt uncomfortable about pressure canning. I have a stove-top pressure canner but have never felt confident about it. When I saw this come out, I was interested. I think it's been a year or so and I have been researching about it, looking at everything I could find. I decided to buy it when I saw how much Presto stood behind it. They've been making pressure canners for many years, and I know their products are good, so that means something to me. I also found that Oregon State University had tested this canner and deemed it safe. So I bought it. It is terrific. I feel confident about canning soup and beans now. The thing comes with a nice laminated cheat sheet that I keep on my fridge to refer to when canning. Highly recommended!

Not happy with these sealing rings! These are listed for the model pressure canner I have but they do not seal. I even stopped the pressure canner, removed the lid and checked the sealing ring was sitting correctly (it was), reapplied the lid and restarted it. I had a leaking mess of water from it never sealing and because it wouldn't seal, so it wouldn't start the 90 minute phase of pressure canning. Do not buy!
