I purchased this to give my 6qt instant pot a tune up and the only thing that fits is the lid seal. The other pieces are either too big or too small. This pack is a waste of money! Buyer beware!

I was given a used instant pot from a family member, and the lid was “wonky” (not sealing). I called instant pot customer service, they sent me a basic link on lid maintenance. I used this kit to rebuild a duo 6 qt v2 - using silicone ring, silicone cap, metal cap, and top pressure selection / black cap parts. My rebuilt lid works flawlessly! As there were two sealing rings, I also replaced the one on my 6 qt fagor (now Zavor) multicooker, and also replaced the tiny silicone gasket holding the pressure pin. I ordered a spare kit to keep on hand. IMO - what fantastic kit!

El empaque original de mi instapot ya no sellaba bien así que decidí comprar este kit. Además de traer varios sellos trae otras piezas para reemplazar, reemplacé todas las que pude y me atrevería a decir que funciona aún mejor que las piezas originales. Alcanza la presión más rápido y hay menos fuga de vapor. Lo recomiendo totalmente. La única cosa que falta en mi opinión son unas instrucciones ya que tuve que buscar videos en YouTube para cambiar unas piezas por lo demás todo muy bien.

My eight quart Instapot quit sealing and would not bring items to adequate pressure to cook my food as desired. I used the items in this kit to refurbish my Instapot and now it works like new. For the most part, the items in this kit worked well. However, the included stem that is used with the vent knob in this kit was too short for my Instapot. I was able to continue to use the original knob/stem that came with my Instapot but this kit would have not worked had I not been able to recycle the OEM part. Bear this in mind if you buy this particular kit. Deducting one star due to that particular part not being compatible but I can still recommend purchasing this if your Instapot stops working as it should.

The Instant Pot is extremely convenient & versatile for time-consuming cooking of soup, stew & chili.Its manual advises cleaning after use. Generally, it is no problem, except that the tiny cap-like silicon gasket gets lost easily during washing.Without it's capping the Floating Valve, fast 'Pressure'-cooking is not feasible.I lost this gasket during cleaning in a tired moment, & could not use the Pot; until the replacement part arrived.To prevent its being lost again, I have since put the Gasket back on the Floating Valve "before" cleaning, & re-assembled them after drying.Still, other silicon parts like the sealing rings can lose elasticity upon long years of service. For that reason alone, it would be wise to have those back-up accessary at hand.
