I have a red cedar barrel type hot tub that I love. But I was having problems keeping the water clear past 3 weeks. I knew it was something I was doing wrong so I emptied the tub and switched to bromine & alge killer and that did the trick!!!

I love the SeaKlear product, it’s does it’s job and works great. However, POOL GEEK charges double the price on Amazon as they do on their website. I inquired about this price difference (along with the 20% increase in price) from Pool Geek and they never responded so I purchased from a competitor for $16 and it shipped that day.

We just moved into a house with a hot tub and this is what the previous owners left. It works great and keeps the water clear. The price was comparable to other brands so we stuck with it.

I used chlorine for the last year to sanitize and unless u kept a boat load in the tub a organic smell was noticeable when opening the tub. I was told by tech to use spa schlock instead of chlorine...4 days later water has no foam and the smell is gone...plus no chlorine smell! Awesome!

Our hot tub would not be the same without this. Having a large group in, a cup takes care of it. Just you and one other, a cup every other day keeps things sparkling.

Have been using this for six months and spa is crystal clear without issue! You do need to leave the top off for at least 60 minutes after putting this in. That way all the contaminants which become oxidized can escape and not hit the cover and fall back in the tub. We learned that the hard way. It will make you smell like a wet dog if you don't leave the cover off.
