Seems to work fine. Installed it in my own in about 20 minutes. 15 of those was cutting off the cable ties from the old one and routing this new cable to the box. Been a few weeks now - still working great.

Nerve wracking replacing this myself but it dropped right in and the plug was easy to find the orientation and fasten. There's a rubber cap on the open end of the cord which is handy to leave on if you have to reach the equipment through some bushes like I did. Keeps the contacts clean. Well worth the extra for the brand version. Based on the knock off version reviews, probably the best cost upgrade and it will be extra $ well spent.

Easy to swap old with new. Takes two minutes. Only complaint is with Jandy and not this purchase. This cell system was sold as a great salt system that should last at least 7 yrs. before this part would need replacement. But only has a two yr. Warranty. Of course it only lasted three and would not recommend this salt system to anyone.

We came home from a vacation to a bad salt cell and a swampy pool. After a call to the local pool company which would have cost an arm and a leg for them to come take a look and replace it, I found this on Amazon. Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Thursday. I disconnected power, unlocked and removed the old salt cell, disconnected the plug, and installed the new salt cell. As soon as I restored power it was working. You can do this yourself!

Product arrived on time. Two hurricanes immediately after receipt meant that the pool company could not get to the replacement until the 34th day after receipt. When they attempted to replace it, the entire cell salt chlorinator was bad which means they must replace the full unit and not just the cell. I contacted support and was referred to Amazon who referred me to the manufacturer. None of them will accept a return of a completely unused, new in bubble wrap, new in box cell because it was 4 days post purchase. I typically understand but would really like some consideration considering we had 2 hurricanes during that time period. Very disappointed in Amazon. I buy a lot from them and rarely return but don't want a $440 unused salt cell collecting dust.
