I use cutters with my clay and found that they don't work very well with this clay. I also found it a bit messy. I assumed that it would dry to a white color but it's so dark I don't think it will.

Sculp Air Dry Clay is absolutely fantastic! Itâs incredibly easy to work with, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters alike. The texture is smooth and pliable, allowing you to create detailed pieces without any fuss. It dries beautifully without cracking, leaving a clean, polished finish. One of the best things about this clay is how kid-friendly it is! My children love using it to make all sorts of creations, and I love that itâs non-toxic and safe for them to handle. Plus, thereâs no need for a kiln or ovenâjust let it air dry, and youâre done!Whether youâre crafting with kids, making art projects, or just looking for a creative outlet, this clay is a must-have. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-quality, easy-to-use air dry clay.

Granted, the only other air dry clay Iâve used is DAS but this one is spectacular! Almost immediately I could tell such a difference between the two. Will definitely only buy this brand moving forward. The clay felt much more durable and pliable.

I ordered a candle-making kit from Sculpd in early December, which arrived on December 13th. When I finally opened the box on January 4th, I discovered that the clay was completely hard and unusableâit couldn't be manipulated at all. I reached out to Sculpd to see if there was a remedy for this issue. While waiting for their response, I ordered an extra bag of Sculpd clay from Amazon to determine if the clay from the original kit was defective or if I simply needed to learn how to work with it better. The clay I received from Amazon was soft and completely workable, confirming that the original kit's clay was bad. Sculpd asked me to send photos of the hardened clay, which I did. Although I was disappointed that the original clay was unusable, I appreciated that the kit itself was well-designed and enjoyable to use with the new clay.Overall, I'm pleased with the kit, but Iâd caution others that if you receive clay that is hard and unusable, donât be too surprised. However, it's good to know that workable clay is available, and replacing the bad clay can make all the difference.

I got the Sculpd Premium Air Dry Clay because I wanted to try my hand at pottery without the whole hassle of getting a kiln, and this stuff delivered. Itâs soft, easy to work with, and genuinely makes you feel like a pottery pro (even if, like me, your skills max out at making a semi-round bowl). Itâs perfect for beginners or anyone who just wants a relaxing craft night without getting too messy. The texture is soft and smooth, which makes it super easy to shape. Whether youâre trying to make a delicate little trinket dish or a slightly wonky plant pot, itâs forgiving enough to handle a few do-overs. Plus, it self-hardens, which means all you have to do is let it sit and dry, no baking required. I just left my creations out for a day or two, and they were ready for paint and display! The 1kg bag is plenty for several projects, which is great if you get a little carried away like I did. I started with one simple pot and ended up with a mini collection of quirky household items. I even managed to rope in some friends, and it turned into a really fun group activity. Just be prepared for a few masterpieces that look more 'abstract' than you intended, trust me, itâs part of the charm! If youâve always wanted to dabble in pottery or make something with your own hands, this air dry clay is a fantastic way to start. No fancy tools, no oven, just you, some clay, and whatever your imagination comes up with. Itâs an affordable and fun way to unleash your inner artist, even if itâs just to make a slightly off-kilter mug for your pens.

I bought Sculpd because I have used it in the past and love the fibers in the clay because it gives an added strength to finished product. I am using with small kiddos so added strength to protect from cracking is necessary. All of the kidsâ projects have cracked and fallen apart. There appears to be NO fibers in the clay I received and we are all terribly disappointed. Especially since we paid so much for 2.2 lbs.We will go back to using Das Clay. No fibers there either, but their quality is consistent.
