The clay was too formed to the package, not playable at all. Maybe it was a bad batch?

Loved the fact that there were small packs so a giant bucket didn't get hard as soon as they started using it.

As a fun addition for everyone’s gifts, I decided to get each person in our family a little pouch of this lightweight clay. There is a good amount of clay all together, but each individual pack is very tiny! (The little bags are not the easiest to get all of the clay out, but if you turn the bag completely inside out, it’s fine.) The clay does dry rather quickly, so you just need to work fast. Fun for kids and adults!

My 12-year-old daughter and I love to spend time sculpting things out of air clay - we've gone through a ton of different brands, and so I feel we are able to compare this air clay to others out there with some amount of confidence.Overall, this clay is not awful. However, compared to other air clays, it comes out of the bag with a bit of a slimy feel, and it starts to dry REALLY quickly (so you have to move fast if you don't want it to start getting less pliable and more grainy as you work it). It's also more flexible once it has dried completely than other clays - this can be a blessing and a curse, because that flexibility comes at the cost of durability. We have discovered that applying a few layers of acrylic varnish/glaze on completed pieces makes a world of difference in making the clay harder and more durable (but, of course, this is an added cost as you have to buy varnish separately). On the plus side, it is relatively paintable after it's dry (we needed to use 2-3 coats of acrylic paints for them to achieve full coverage). It's also pretty easy to clean up (as it dries, it does flake a bit more than other clays, but the flakes are easy to vacuum or pick up by hand). If you're just starting playing with air clay, or if you have a small child who wants to play with non-staining air clay, this is passable. If you're looking for something a bit more durable and easier to work with your hands, there are a lot of better options out there.
