Update: The vendor reached out to me and offered a replacement or full refund without question. I'm happy to see that there are still companies who stand behind their products. I still think the product will be fine for regular bolts around the house - just not for ultra-hard German suspension bolts.--- original review ---I tried to use this to extract a sheared bolt from my Mercedes. The result was a disaster - the drills are just not sharp enough to drill into the bolt so the hole was a horrible shape. The extractor completely failed to grip onto the bolt. It's probably fine if you are extracting cheap grade 5 bolts but useless for any serious automotive application.

Had a pool cover anchor screw that cracked. No way of getting it out! Got these in the mail yesterday and was able to easily start unscrewing it. I couldn’t be more relieved. It also feels good know I have these in case I run into anymore stripped screws.

I had a couple of individual extractors that I have purchased over time for specific needs. When I saw this set, at the price point, I grabbed it to know I always have something on hand for when I need it.The case is handy and keeps them all together. It comes with a sliding lock, that should last as long as you don't smack it very hard. The kit comes with the following sizes/qtys:#1 (1/8" drill bit) - 2#2 (5/32" drill bit) - 2#3 (3/16" drill bit) - 1#4 (1/4" drill bit) - 1#5 (19/64" drill bit) - 1#6 (3/8" drill bit) - 1#7 (1/2" drill bit) - 1Those last few are MASSIVE - not sure if I will ever need those. But if I ever do, I'll probably not need much, so even if these aren't that durable, I will never know.I like getting a couple of the smaller one - I have broken them before (hint: liberal use of penetrating oil and allowing it time to penetrate helps a LOT if it is seized. No instructions come with it, so if you've never used, there is a trick. You have to drill the starter hole with the drill in reverse. This is why they say several times that they are left-handed bits. The flutes in the bits twist the other way on these bits. This is on purpose. Sometimes, if the screw is not too jammed, just the drill bit is enough to extract the broken screw. But by drilling in reverse, if it moves, it will be coming in the right direction - OUT. You don't want the screw to break free and go farther into the hole (or possibly through, if it is open on the other end. You don't want it dropping into machinery, etc.For the cost, I got these as a long-term insurance policy. If I get extensive usage, which I wouldn't wish on anyone, I'll come back and update with long-term thoughts.Disclaimer: I am reviewing this product as part of the Amazon Vine program. I received the product at a highly reduced cost (I still have to pay taxes on the full regular price) for my honest, unbiased review. If I gave the product 4 or 5 stars, it is because I was pleasantly surprised with the product. If I gave it less than that, I will tell you exactly why and what problems I encountered. Unless noted, this is an initial review from using for a limited amount of time, and not full blown lab-grade controlled testing. YMMV. Sorry, but I try to be as accurate and complete as possible, so this is likely at the end of a longer than usual review. I hope you find it helpful, though.
