The scratch marks it created on the stove, so for ceramic (glass top) I would suggest not using them, red a finer abrasives cleaner.

This is the best glass cook top cleaning solution I've found. Get it slightly wet and scrub with water for slight messes. For dried or burnt stains, add some Weimans cleaner and scrub. Wipe down with a microfiber cloth. Our stove is several years old and still looks brand new!

These are truly the best sponges for your glass cooktop. I have one at home and in a rental that my housekeeper uses and loves them as well. They clean the stove great and don't scratch the surface so will help make your stovetop last longer.

I have been using the razor scrapers to clean crud off the glass top cooktop then polishing with the special glass cook top polish. I can get a fairly shiny surface. This pad has one big advantage in that it can't cause an actual cut mark in the glass top as can happen with the regular glass top scraper. However it does not remove the built up crust as well as the scraper. I will continue using both and see how that works out.
