Stays on strong, durable, and appears to be high-quality, just like the OG packing tape that isn't specifically designated as recycled. Good value as always from Scotch. Note that this tape is semi-transparent, so you probably aren't going to thrill your postal carrier or package delivery service if you cover a label with it. Otherwise, it's plenty sticky and strong like mentioned above, and is easy to peel and stick... just like the OG packing tape it's based on.

I don't know about "heavy duty" but it is good packing tape for packaging. The tape is not very wide, so I would not recommend it for moving, but for everyday use returning packages or sealing something it is perfect. The dispensers are easy to use, and the tape rolls out without effort. It is sticky enough to adhere to the box, but not too sticky to be annoying. Overall, a good purchase. I think I would get rid of extra dispensers and just have one for the whole package with tape provided on rolls. This way there would be less waste.

If you truly want to walk the walk about recycling, grab this tape. It's really durable stuff, and feels and grips substantially. It also gives a really solid grip on the same surfaces you would expect.I grabbed the 6 pack and I'm giving a few of them out to friends just so that they can experience the recycled tape life as well. This is one of the few applications of recycled plastics that make perfect sense to me. And this nailed the assignment of making something that still functions like a really heavy duty, "trust this tape"-tape.

This set of packing tape includes six rolls of clear tape, each with its own plastic dispenser. It was easy to get a roll started, apply with the included dispenser and tear for the needed length. I used it for prepping a number of shipping boxes and after checking with the recipient, everything arrived intact without any issues with the tape used.

I go through a good amount of packing tape for my small businesses, so it's nice to stock up in bulk. This tape is made from recycled materials, which is nice as we're trying to use more sustainable options whenever possible. However, the "green tax" on this compared to the standard tape is a notable price difference.It's the same size as a standard role, but feels a little thicker/stronger to me which is nice for heavier boxes. I don't feel the need to "double up" as much as with normal tape, which maybe helps mitigate some of that value difference.The adhesive sticks securely, and the cutter is easy to use despite the thicker tape. I will note that the tape isn't "crystal clear" due to the recycled content; it has a semi-clear frosted finish that can impact visibility if you were to use it over a shipping label, etc. I think most things would still be legible, but it's worth noting (example image is black marker on a white bubble mailer).

Since my spouse and I run an online business, unless our customer happens to be local, we ship to the customer. Because of this we have to keep boxes, tape, and packing materials on hand, including packaging tape. You cannot just settle for the cheapest tape you can find, or else you risk having the package open during transit, potentially resulting in damage to the contents or resulting in the goods being lost.This packing tape comes in a 6-pack. Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide, and is 800 inches long. Each of the 6 rolls is preloaded onto its own dispenser with cutting blade. The tape itself is made from recycled materials, 70% of which is ocean bound plastic. This is amazing and a great way to help the environment. I have used a lot of tape in the 25+ years of the home business, and this tape is just as sticky as any other tape I have used. The price is great also, as these 6 rolls cost less than $20. If you are moving or in the market for some new pacing tape, then consider this recycled tape by Scotch.
