Buy it! This saved my beautiful wisteria plant. It was COVERED in spider mites and their wed nests, it dropped most of the leaves, it looked almost dead. I hung a package of these and within 2 weeks - not a single spider mite was left, and there is new growth showing, my wisteria will survive! 10/10 would recommend! Fantastic product!

My outdoor plants come inside. To help with any bugs that made a home in the soil I use this to combat the pests. My last go round I waited until everything was inside and had major bugs. This go round I did it before bringing them in. So far no big uptick in fungus gnats. WIN!!

I used this in my indoor plants soil to get rid of knats and the like. It works well. Bugs were gone in less than a month.

I brought home a plant for myself from a local nursery that, unbeknownst to me, was infested with fungus gnats. I've never had them before, so it took me a while to figure it out. By the time I realized what was going on, the offending plant had infested my other 20+ houseplants. I tried Neem oil (does absolutely nothing for fungus gnats), and ordered the yellow sticky plant stakes as well. And while the stakes work for catching and killing flying gnats (and random house flys and getting stuck to my cat's underbelly), they do nothing to get to the root of the problem--which is destroying the eggs that the gnats lay in moist soil. I ended up laying as many of the stakes as I could horizontally over the top soil of my plants, as the gnats crawl over it and don't fly around all the time. This helped a little. But the Nematodes? At this point I would have to say the fungus gnats are eradicated! From 20+ plants! For the first application, I started with dry soil in all plants. I used a spray bottle to moisten the top soil, then followed the directions for the mixture of nematodes. I watered all the plants with the water mixture with a regular watering can. (I put all of the sticky stakes back over the surfaces). About 2 weeks later, I mixed up a more potent batch and transferred it to a spray bottle. I completely saturated the entire surface of each plant with the water.I have not seen one gnat in over a week. I can't even believe it. I still have about 390,000 nematodes left, so I may mix up one more batch, but I couldn't be happier.

This stuff is not cheap but it IS effective in controlling fungus flies in my houseplants. I had purchased this twice before from another site. The first time the order came properly packaged to keep the bag cool and the nematodes alive. They worked well. The second time I ordered them they did not come properly packaged and they didn't work. I'm sure they were probably dead when I got them. This time I went to BioLogic's website to read up on nematodes and discovered how delicate they are. When I discovered that BioLogic sells right here on Amazon I decided to try them again. This time the nematodes came directly from BioLogic packaged perfectly. The bag I received of 10 million nematodes was enough to treat all my houseplants (about 50 6" pots) 3 times. I had a really bad infestation so it did take more than 1 application to get rid of all of them. The last application was to use up the last of the powder and to give a little extra protection. They say that dry soil is the leading cause of nematodes dying so I try to keep the top of the soil moist without over watering my plants. It's been about 3 months now and I still don't see any signs of fungus flies. I had been also using that yellow sticky paper to trap the little buggers but was finally able to throw them all away. The sticky paper does work to trap them but I hate it when I reach over my plants to pick off dead flowers or water and the darn stuff sticks to my sleeves. The sticky paper doesn't get rid of the infestation. It just seems to keep the flies from getting too out of control. The nematodes actually gets rid of the flies completely. It seems it works best for me if I apply the nematodes several times a year. They do get reintroduced from time to time for outside sources. I've even opened a bag of name brand planting soil and had a few flies fly out. Of course they come in the house in the summer time too through windows and open doors so it's to be expected fungus flies will be an ongoing issue. BioLogic nematodes seems to be the best product for me to keep me and my plants happy and healthy year round.

I bought it last year and it worked amazing, so I ordered it for this year. I ordered two packs and they did not work at all. I came out to find most of my pepper plants eaten down at ground level. I dug around and found grubs and cut worms, and saw fruit flies around, this was several weeks after application; I know it takes tame to work, but it did not. I used it right away and as directed. I ordered one more to see if maybe I got a bad batch the last time and used it on one of the beds and this one is working. It's expensive, but when it works it works great. I am not sure it's worth taking the chance every year if you don't know what your getting at this price. I may try another company.

I was very excited to get these little creatures in the mail. I couldn't wait to spray them in the areas where my cat likes to pic up her little "friends". I had some left over so I sprayed it unto potted plants that seemed to have been wilting from root eating bugs. While the potted plants did recover in about 2 weeks (which means that this stuff really works!), the flea problem is still a problem for me. But please keep in mind that I live in a forest. There are wild animals roaming around my back yard day and night. So I'm sure this product helped put a dent in flea population, but it's unreal to expect it to completely remove them. I imagine this would work beautifully in a suburban backyard though. Since it did save my dying plants and it's super easy to use, I'm giving it 5 stars.
