I was very confused about the three small holes in the lid since they were not in the description. But after using the pan I realized that they are ideal for cooking with it since it prevents the lid from bouncing around like how other pan lids do.

I needed a larger saute pan to make meals, and this one fits my needs. The deep 4 in depth and 12 in diameter works for me, and the lids and handles are all well made. I think the price is fair, and works well so far. Would recommend.

It's very big, but it's great for sautéing the main foods, and big enough to make it into a lot of tomato sauce. Plus put the pasta in and stir. It's a little heavier than I like to work with, but its handles are literally opposite of each other, making it easier to carry to the table.

This is a nice quality pan though I underestimated the size. My stovetop has four burners & this nearly takes up two spaces, crowding the other pots. It's great when only one large pan is needed but it's limited when the other burners are in use. The disappointment is the handle for the lid. It needs to be screwed on & one screw is missing which is frustrating. As it is, this pan will work out fine for occasional use only.

The sauté pan has a flat base and is about a foot wide. It’s about 4 inches high, and I don’t see any rivets inside. It’s all smooth with the same surface inside and outside. It seems I can remove the side handles, as I received a wrench that fits exactly the nuts holding them. I even got four spare nuts. I don’t have the need to remove the handles, and my oven is wide enough to fit the pan with the handles on. The lid is metal, and the handle in the center is held by nuts and screws. There are two vent holes near the edge, about an inch apart from each other. On the bottom, I see that it is tri-ply bonded. According to the instructions, it has an aluminum core with magnetic stainless steel layers. From what I see on the bottom and in the instructions, the pan works on gas, electric, induction, ceramic, and halogen cooktops. I can also place it in the oven, and it’s dishwasher safe. I have already washed it twice in the dishwasher before use. I am cooking with it on my induction cooktop. It heats up well, and I can cook very large amounts of food.

You know when something's just so right it doesn't need words? This is one of those things. Perfect size for just about anything. Naturally non-stick (use butter/oil or water and high heat to keep things stick free) and easy to clean. Stylish too.Layered bottom for even heating. Deep and large overall - great for everything from browning meat to cooking a stew. Heavy metal holds heat well. Handles are very sturdy and well-attached. Feels very solid. Cannot find any faults with it. Buying more as Christmas gifts for my family.

This pan is very high quality in every way. Its large enough for making a small stew, soup, gravy, etc. but small enough to be easliy handled and not super heavy. The lid seals well and the handles stay relativly cool. We use gas burners, so i can't speak to electric burners, this pan heats evenly and quick. Clean up is very easy due to the high quality stainless steel. If you are in the market for a good "do all" pan, you can't go wrong with this one..

I am very pleased that the sauté pan arrived nicely packaged. However, in the packaging I found that you have to attach the handle onto the lid. Struck me odd. I was surprised that a couple of the bolts were loose in the lid but there was more sealed in a bag with an included wrench. It took me a moment to figure out how to attach the lid as I couldn’t find screws. I later found them loose in a packaging bag. I had to use the online photo to make sure I placed the screws and bolts in the correct place as there were no instructions. Did not help that the included wrench was too large on both ends. I will have to find a wrench small enough to ensure the handle is snugly and safely attached before cooking. Never had to attach a pan handle before. Especially when it could have been attached since the lid arrived upside down in the pan. The pan itself is deep enough. There was room for the handle to be already assembled. Just odd to me.I removed a star for the fact that the lid wasn’t assembled, had to search for screws and that the included tool is too large to attach the handle correctly. It’s nice that the lid has two vent holes to let steam escape. However, it would be nice to be able to close the holes up when cooking a particular dish. Just my own opinion on the vent holes. No star loss for that. The pan itself is good. The sides are high to ensure no spillage. The bottom of the pan has a nice weight to it and feels good. Can tell food will cook evenly across the inner surface. All in all, I will recommend the sauté pan. The lid fits the pan nicely. The pan itself is large across the bottom and high sides to avoid spillage or splatter. You can use it on the stove and in the oven. I like that it is stainless steel. Just make sure you have a small wrench on hand when you do order the saute pan.
