Love these little lights! They are bright with nice dimming, clamps are very strong, gooseneck are flexible but so far hold positioning well, and the timers are working perfectly. Only thing I would like is a 10 hour timer between the 8 hour and 12 hour.

I love these clip on lights. They have different levels of strength for bright light to low light plant needs. Note, these lights must be plugged in to an outlet. The wire is very long to reach anywhere. I love how easy I can bend them around to where I want it.

First plant light purchase and couldn't be happier! Strong clamp that dosen't move when attached to the pot....easily shapes to the position I want...timer works great! I set it for 12 hours...automatically comes on and off on time!

These lights are amazing! They look great and actually give the plant lots of needed light! I have bought several of them and I'll continue to stick to this brand. I love that it has a timer on it so that I don't need to use a smart plug with it. I think I'm up to 10 of them now.

I love Sansi lights. They’re super bright and my plants do very well under them. I love these clip ones because you can just clip them to the edge of a table, or small pot. And they cover a wide range of plants too, with bright enough light for quite a handful of plants.

I have a hanging plant in the corner that needed more light. This is the perfect solution! It clamps on the twine or ring. It bends any direction and I love the 3 different timer selections and various light brightness to choose from. Long cord is a huge plus.

After spending a week acclimating my plant by gradually increasing both brightness and time, we have reached 12 hours of full light. I was thrilled today, getting up to find the light had come on already! A 12- hour internal mechanism makes sense to me now.The head of the lamp gets warm but certainly not dangerously hot.; the gooseneck is easy to manipulate, quite sturdy, and stays precisely where you put it. My ficus microcarpa ginsengprefers the light to be 12-18" away which I accomplished by clipping it onto my blinds.I would suggest researching your particular plant as to distance. Mine was protesting the unusually dark winter we're having here by dropping leaves, something that hasn't happened in our previous 4 winters together. Since using this light, new leaves are coming in on all the branches!I appreciate the 10 ft. cord and the minimal profile of this unit. I researched a fair amount before deciding on this brand and feel I made the perfect choice.

Hi again! Excellent lights - helping my ZZ plant put out more shoots and my tamarind place put out more leaves. I love that the strength of the light is adjustable and that it has three time settings to choose from. I don’t like that the time settings are 3, 6, and 12 hours; I’d prefer and 8 or 10 hour setting rather than the 3. Because of that, I gave it 4 stars!

This little lamp is, as expected, doing a fantastic job of growing aquatic plants in my 3 gallon cube tank. I needed something fully flexible and with a narrow base so I could still fit the filter and lid. I had high hopes that I'd be able to use the Nicrew dimmer/ramp timer with this light, since it has a mechanical on/off button rather than a touch/sensor button... but nope. Same old issue - it works beautifully with the dimming and shut off but the lamp won't turn on with the timer (you still need to press the on/off button every morning). So I detached the preferred ramp timer and just use the 6 hour timer setting built into this light - the only reason this works in this scenario is because the light is so flexible, I can position it high enough above the tank to not cause algae overgrowth (light set at around 50% strength). For me, an additional bonus is that the taller light height allows me to grow a small houseplant out of my filter too.Although I was REALLY hoping to use the fancier dimmer/ramp timer for the ultimate desktop aquarium setup, I am still fully and completely happy with the features of this light and plant growth above/below water. Please note I do not recommend using this lamp above an aquarium unless a secure lid is in place as a barrier between light and water!

Hey yall,I wanted to modify these excellent lights to work with my grow light timer and in the process i discovered how horribly inefficient the power adapters on these light are. i also figured id share some measurements i made with my light meter to help any one who doesn't own one figure out how much light they are providing to their plants. Last i used the data i collected and crunched some number to check sansi claims regarding light intensity.Anyways, I posted a picture of the timer/dimmer/switch for any one who would be interested in modifying these to be "Always on". Few people complained that these are not compatible with any timer you may have for existing grow lights. I ran into the same issue. The solution here is obvious. You basically have to bypass the board. I don't recommend you do it if you don't know how to do it right. But if sansi is listening it would be nice if you can add another set of barrel connectors above the controller. This can not only allow people to bypass it but also adjust cord length and controller positioning. I have almost knocked down other plants attempting to turn on my lights. I can't be the only one with this problem. While i had this disassembled I decided to measure exactly how much power these lights are using. i saw one review that stated that he used a kill-a-watt meter and saw a output of 10w. I used a multimeter that i tested before and after the readings. At the highest brightness settings i measured 16W at the wall. So then i took a reading after the adapter and got a reading of 6.3W. I found this alarming. That would mean that the power adapter on this grow light is only ~40% efficient at converting AC to DC. This is insanity. i repeated these measurements for every power setting and repeated some with other adapters that came with the five other Sansi grow lights i have with similar results.Let me put this into dollars and cents. I use theses grow lights for 16 hrs a day and a kilowatt hour here in NYC after all charges is about $.31. One year of operating this this light with this adapter will cost me ~$29. If Sansi provided Gallium Nitride (GaN) adapters which operate at a efficiency of ~90% it will cost ~$12 to operate for a year. For me with my three lights will be a difference of ~$51 a year. Im lucky that i have the know how to make this happen safely. I do not know how poor the quality of adapters are provided by competitors. This may not be a fair comparison for Sansi. But if i had any recommendation for Sansi it would be to get more efficient power adapters!(For reference a 12v 30W GaN adapter cost about ~$18 retail and should be sufficient for my three lights)The last thing i wanted to share was another small spread sheet i made. I used 6", 9", 12". I figured this would be useful since on their website they make recommendations on how far you should place the lamps to certain plants and what the coverage would be. And yes its a sharp exponential drop which then had me thinking.....Using that data i can calculate if sansi is being honest on the amount of lumens their light produces. Lumens and Lux are related to each other 1000 Lumen source will produce a 1000Lux at 1m if it had a beam width of 1M^2. When i measured the amount of light i got at 1 meter i got 499. I chuckled. In their marketing material they claim a beam width of 1.07 ft^2 and 1.94ft^2 at 9" and 12" respectively. If you extrapolate they claim that at 1M you will have a 2M^2 beam width. I didn't attempt to measure the beam width my self but the math worked out perfectly. (It didn't line up when it came to the amount of lumens i got at 9"&12" ~395Lux @ 39.72"(1m) but it think this could be because of a not perfectly uniform beam)Moving on. I like the grow lights. They work as expected they look nice and my jalapenos and strawberries are doing great!
