Works great. Easy to install. Has a timer. Looks good but not very sturdy. Didn't notice any high heat levels. Works great and definitely worth buying.

I have been using the product for five days now, and my plants have been thriving under its care. The growing light is of high quality, and the timer is user-friendly. I am hopeful that my purchase will be satisfactory, as the return window has expired. However, I am confident that the product’s appearance and functionality are of good quality.

Like a few other reviewers, this grow light worked well for me initially, and then suddenly stopped working. I agree that it is a bit unsteady and does not seem very sturdy, but it did serve the purpose of providing light to our plants which we are keeping in the basement during the winter months. The timer function worked well, and I was initially satisfied with this purchase. About 2 months after I purchased it, it would not turn on. I first tried to locate a way to contact the seller/manufacturer in my purchase history, but the only links I can find on Amazon are to product support where it gives you troubleshooting suggestions, all of which did not work, but no way to contact the seller. Finally, I chatted with Amazon customer support and although the representative noted my item was outside of the return window, she credited me the purchase amount of the item "as an exception" with the amount added back to my Amazon gift card balance. The 2 star rating is for the product, as it should not have failed within 2 months of purchase. But big props to Amazon customer service for giving me a credit of the purchase price.I believe the issue was with the AC adaptor - because I did have one from another device which is the same 120 volts and tried it with the light and bingo - the light worked. So if you're having the same issue with your light, try the adaptor, that might be it.Feb 2025 update: Customer service reached out to me and offered to send me a new AC adaptor. I did receive the adaptor and I'm updating my review from 2 stars to 3. The adaptor should not have failed so quickly but the customer service is very good.

Was looking for something big enough for my banana plant without breaking the bank and so far this seems to be working. It's small enough to set up inside the pot and is perfect height when fully extended. Being able to set it inside the pot is nice...it doesn't take up any more space than the plant already does and I can wheel it around without moving and re-adjusting the light. Only time will tell if the banana plant likes it as well as I do! This light was super easy to put together, seems to be of decent quality for the price and having a built in timer is nice. The whole thing is very light weight and would easily fall over (it wouldn't hold up to my robo vac) but being able to shove the tripod legs into dirt makes it much sturdier.

The price of this plant light is great especially as you don’t have to add a timer. It turns on when you choose for 4, 8 or 12 hours then turns off and back on the next day at the set time. Just remember to plug it in at the chosen start time, set the light intensity, and choose the run time. I would have liked a bit longer goose neck to reach over the top of plants. The tripod is a standard photographic unit and very sturdy.

I have one of these along with some other grow lights. I noticed my herb garden plants under another brand and type of grow light are getting leggy and straining towards the one from this company. Clearly plants like it and respond better than to my other grow lights. Time to get another one for some plants brought in for the winter. I find that a new model is available from this company and it is superior in several ways (strength of light and height) to the previous model. I ordered the new one and this arrived - what's not to like - easy set up, on and off automatically, strength of light choices and a broad enough beam to handle multiple plants. I waited a bit late this year to bring in the asparagus fern - the poor thing was dropping needles and turning brown. I watered it well, gave it a bit of fertilizer and stuck it under this light. New growth is appearing and needles have quit shedding. So far, my tea plant seems to be doing very well under this after doing so-so under another, weaker light. And in the spring I can put a large plant in a dark corner and watch it thrive with this.

The unit was easy to assemble by one person, not extremely well made, but reasonable quality for the price. It works fine and it's easy to use on timer or one-off. The lights are bright but focussed such that they illuminate the plants nearby but not a broad area. I have had them on 6-12 hours every day for a month - no problems.

The four stars mostly comes for the brightness, which was about 1900 foot candles, measured at 1 foot from the source in a dark room. Easily the brightest measurement I obtained while looking into various lights - so for the cost, I think that brightness alone is worth it.Unfortunately everything else is lacking a bit. The build quality isn't great - the piece feels a bit fragile. The stand is not very sturdy. The power cord is maybe 4-5 feet, not very long. No timer. No dimmer. Honestly I wish it was sold as just the light with some other functions like timer and dimming.

Update:I'm updating this review to 5 stars. As I had said in my previous review, the lights themselves were great. My issue was with the fact that they burned out after only a few months of use. The seller saw my review and reached out to advise that they should not have burned out that quickly. They advised that they will more closely monitor quality control and they sent me two new lights for free. Those replacement lights are working well. However, I won't know until the fall whether they last as all of the plants are currently outside of the summer. Hopefully my original purchase was just bad luck that I got two faulty lights.I purchased two of these lights in November of 2022 for my plants. The plants did really well all winter. And I was actually really impressed with the lights and would have given them 5 stars. However, in April both lights burned out. And apparently you can't buy replacement bulbs so you either look for something else or buy entirely new units each time. I won't consider these again and will instead look for a better option that lasts. Its not only a waste of money but its just more junk being piled into landfills if you have to buy these on a yearly basis and you know you'll get a few months max out of them.

Todo el sistema que trae para mover las luces es excelente, tiene una que otra pieza que no es tan resiste pero luego de varios meses de uso quedé conforme. Muy buena potencia y perfectas para crecimiento.
