This is NOT the "Magic Rub" eraser by FaberCastell under a later name. This "Magic Rub" eraser by Prismacolor is of an entirely different material. In my use, it typically erases 90% of pencil marks (compared to 95%+ of the name-sake eraser), but it also often puckers the paper being erased. Accordingly, on balance, I was not satisfied with this product.

I bought a box because I had a big erasing project (cleaning up books I had marked up, prior to selling them).I have hardly even made a dent in the first one!And they do THE BEST job of erasing!I love it!I ended up giving away a bunch to friends!

I have been using these erasers for years for something they were not intended for. When working with wood, especially at the lathe, I use them as backing for small pieces of sandpaper - my "soft sanding blocks". These conform easily to curved surfaces for hand-sanding, for example, the surfaces of a bowl or platter. For curved surfaces this is far better than using a small piece of wood for a sanding block.With sandpaper wrapped around these erasers used as backing, it's much easier to hold the sandpaper firmly and apply controlled, even pressure, than it is holding the sandpaper by hand.I have been teaching this method for years to students and at woodturning demonstrations. I suspect a lot of people have now bought erasers for something other than erasing pencil lines! (They work great for that too!)JKJ

My erasers had ZERO visible bubbles :(Otherwise effective sturdy erasers which don’t make a mess of shavings.

These are the same old erasers I bought years and years ago. They may be exact or they may have changed. What's important is they feel like they changed and so I still like them. Highly recommend them as they erase cleanly and don't leave residue aside from a few eraser crumbs that you can sweep or simply blow away. Terrific product!

Love these erasers they’re hard to get in person nowadays. They’re good quality and used them a lot when I was in elementary school. But the price for the amount is good. I probably won’t need anymore erasers for the rest of uni.
