With little effort, this eraser removes dried glue or ink mistakes from your paper craft projects. You need to use it gently as it will tear through your paper projects with too much force or repeated use in the same area. I use it all the time, (I’m a messy crafter), and would highly recommend it to fellow crafters.

It takes a light hand to remove ink from the paper with a minimal amount of sanding away the paper. It is not a miracle worker. Some marks cannot be removed.

Me encantó. Funciona bien para renovarle el aspecto a los brazaletes de acero sin mucha complejidad. Evidentemente no quita rayones muy profundos, hay que hacerlo con cuidado y en el sentido del pulido, pero funciona realmente bien.

Rec'd and immediately put to the test. I found it to be a great asset to the stamping craft. You don't use this as 'heavy handed'... use a light touch. If at first it does not remove mark, simply turn eraser around an try other end. I think it is a life-saver to the stamping world of crafts. There was only one is order. Take care of it.

I love coloring in adult coloring books. I use colored pencils, watercolor pencils, gel pens, waterbased markers, & permanent markers. I ordered this eraser because I am always looking for a good eraser. I love the FaberCastell Perfection 7058B eraser. It's similar, if not the same as, the old fashioned typewriter erasers that look like a pencil w/ a stiff brush at the end. But, they don't always take out all the pigment when I erase something. This Tombox MONO Sand Eraser was much smaller than I expected. It's only about 2 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4". I purchased a set of 2. You have to be very gentle when using this eraser or you will erase not only the color you don't want; but, the picture detail and possibly too much of the paper you are working on. That said, this eraser removes colored pencil pigment almost completely unless you've really laid down the pigment using a darker color or a red and then changed your mind. You can remove most of the color but take your time & go gently to avoid tearing the paper. You won't be able to go over an erased dark green with say yellow in a large area. But, you could erase pink and change to yellow and it would be fine. I was using Prismacolor Premier pencils for this test. If you are using the eraser to remove color because you slipped out of the line, this eraser makes quick work of that type of mistake. I did use this to erase gel pen that I'd accidentally applied outside the line of my design. I had to apply more pressure. But, the Tombow removed my gel pen mistake. I would not recommend erasing a large area that was completed using gel pen. But, to date, this eraser has been the best I've found for removing gel pen. Because the ink from markers is absorbed into paper, I didn't find that I could erase the marker which was as expected. As far as watercolor pencils are concerned, I was able to erase easily when the pencil was applied dry & then erased. If the pencil was wet before application or the picture colored & wet with water and a brush for a lighter watercolor effect, then you wouldn't be able to erase with this or any other eraser because the pigment would have soaked into the paper. Bottom line, I think this Tombow MONO Sand Eraser and the FaberCastell Perfection 7058 B erasers are must haves for anyone who enjoys coloring in adult coloring books as a hobby. I am not an artist; but, I believe this eraser would be a perfect addition to any artist's collection of tools.

I purchased this because of a recommendation by Jennifer McGuire. It seemed like such a miracle item that I just had to see for myself if it was possibly as good as Jennifer made it look in her videos. It worked so well that I bought two so I have one to use as a back up in case I loose one. I stamped several outline flower stamps on watercolor paper with black ink. I ended up with many black smudges on my card fronts. This sand eraser miraculously sanded the smudges away leaving the paper unmarked! It also sanded away some of the extra distress ink smudges I left when watercoloring the images. It works just as well on plain cardstock too. We all make mistakes with our papercrafting. Thanks to this eraser know one has to see our mistakes! This item should be a staple in any crafters closet!

Made in Japan. Seems like that phrase most always means excellence. Same with this eraser. Erasers are no big deal, you say? Sure...unless...in the year 2015 you are trying to find an eraser made to remove ink. I love these Tombow products and this eraser is no exception. It does the job. The cardboard sleeve says it's a "sand eraser." You know, it's got that gritty feel like an ink eraser is supposed to have. And, it also says, "for typewriter." Ain't that quaint? Well, removing ink from paper is difficult no matter what you do. Get too agressive and it will rip the paper. Take it easy. If any eraser can do it, this one can. It was shipped from Japan. Took a few weeks but that's to be expected.
