It works beautifully in the coop to scoop the poop 😉 Seriously, what I like best is the size, I ended up buying 2 of them so I can sift between the two scoops and leave clean pine shavings on the floor, yes, the pine shavings sift through and drop down...very useful!

I converted my chicken coop to contractors sand & got this to scoop chicken poop. It’s the BES! Very easy to clean up every morning after 10 chickens & toss the manure into the compost pile. Easy peasy lemon squeazy!

Purchased for cleaning my chicken coop. My coop’s floor is sand and this thing puts in the work to sift the poop from the sand. It was easy to assemble and I’ve had no issues since I started using it. My one wish though would be for the sifter to be a little wider. But other than that, seems good quality and has a good weight to it. Recommend!!

If you have temporary health issues and can’t bend or squat to clean the litter box, this cat scooper can help, but wouldn’t use it all the time. Issues are the openings in the scoop are a little too big and smaller particles fall thru and back into the litter box. Part of the handle closest to the scoop is not strong enough and bends/flexes when using, and the section that screws in can twist loose. I like the idea, just needs some improvements.

I use sand in my chicken run and had been wasting so much with a shovel. A rake didn’t work. This is like having a giant cat box scooper and so far it’s saving time and sand! I do a quick clean each morning under the roosts and things are staying smell-free now! Highly recommend this for accessibility and usefulness!
