The scooper and it's caddy are a good idea, but the execution is lacking.I find the handle a little uncomfortable to hold and I find the grid design doesn't capture the smaller clumps as well as I'd like.I'd like the caddy to be taller and sturdier to really protect the soiled scooper from touching anything.I do like that the scooper is metal. It could have used a soft handle attachment sleeve of some sort and the caddy could have been metal too.Overall it's better than some scoopers but not as good as other scoopers I have. It's very mid-range.

Well made product. Scooper is solidly constructed but not too heavy to use. This scooper has 2 different sifting sections. It glides very easily through the cat litter. I had always used a plastic cat litter scooper, and they would bend or break. This metal scooper is easy to sift and easy to clean. Debris does not stick to this scooper like the cheap plastic ones. There is also included, a stand/holder for the scooper. Great product!

This scoop solves a couple problems. However, it does have two flaws.Problem #1 Solved: Large pee balls from scoopable litter will stick together, forming huge balls that can fall off the scoop before you get them into your trash bag. The deep sides of this large scoop solves that.Problem #2 Solved: You always get tiny bits of cat poop that fall between the tines and cannot be picked up. They leave little black dots in your litter that dirty it up. This scoop has a front part with a smaller grid pattern that will allow tiny poop bits to stay in the scooper to be thrown away. As well, there s nice solid ledge along the front that you can use to "cherry-pick" the tiny bits and pieces. Love that. When I say that there's an extra step, I mean that with the smaller grid pattern in the front of the scoop, you need to angle the end up, or just wait a bit longer for the litter to fall through the smaller grid pattern. The back of the scoop has just straight tines so litter falls through it easily. So, you just need to angle upward after you scoop. This also allows the big balls of pee and poop to roll to the back where they stay surrounded safely by the high sides of the scoop. The two flaws?Flaw One: They included a plastic holder for storage. We don't need more plastic in the world. I would rather see a tiny metal hook at the base of the handle for hooking it onto your litter box rim.Flaw Two: I have tiny girl hands and the handle feels about 2-3 inches too short for me. I felt it right away. They saved money by shortening the handle. It would be better with a longer handle. I had to contort my arm more, to get the scoop turned sideways to get stuff from the front of the litter box. A longer handle would have helped. Finally, if you use large pellets of some sort... this scoop may or may not work for you. Large pellets won't fall through the front grid pattern.... but again, if you angle the end up after scooping, the large pellets would fall to the back where they could -eventually- fall between the larger tines. Probably with a bit of a shake....I like the scoop for my tiny grass seed litter. I just have to get used to it and get past the too-short handle. The problems it solves are ones that other plastic scoops don't solve well. This matches my stainless steel litter box as well.

The handle is a bit short to comfortably hold on to. Does well getting the smaller clumps out of the litter. I have two different scoopers, but I keep reaching for this one. Has a nice little bucket to store your scooper in...would recommend.
