At one point, I had 500 egg layers on my farm. However, we have significantly downsized to just 8 hens. I mention this to emphasize that I have cleaned up after a lot of chickens in my life, and this scoop won't even keep up with 8 well. The assembly was simple but nothing fit together very securely. The pieces still twisted about and it's hard to put much force behind scooping. The handle length is sufficient and the basket is a good idea. However, it is a very small capacity, it will take you a long time to make a dent in any cleaning you were wishing to do. I'd pass on this scoop and consider a big aluminum scoop. More expensive, but more efficient.

This chicken coop scoop works pretty well. It comes with plenty of poles connections for height. Works perfectly for cleaning poop in the coop and filling holes. The poles do unscrew fairly easy but that's an easy fix. Overall this scoop gets the job done.

Sturdy and gets the job done. Must have for chicken owners a lot easier than a regular shovel.

This scoop is great! It was a great price and is very good quality. I like the way it is designed and I love how easy it was to assemble. The handle is a great length to prevent back pain. It holds a lot of poo and is easy to sift. I highly recommend!

The photos show before shaking, after and then disassembled and put away. I used this in a coop thatโs a small shed, so we can stand in it. It worked great for getting underneath the roosts and going through the wood pellet bedding. I could shake it to let small pieces fall back down. I took one star off due to the fact that the handle kept loosening at the connection points. I had to keep tightening the joints and would often end up dumping the scoop in the process. I do like that it dissembles, so it fits in a deck box, but wish it stayed together better.

easy to put together. easy to use. great to clean up poop! made well, sturdy. i like that it adjusts, so i can use it and someone taller can use it at the same time without having to hurt back or use a different item

This is a great item and just what I needed. Although other tools will get the job done, this is the right tool for the job. It really makes a difference cleaning up after the chickens. It's not too big, so you can prop it up and it's not in the way. It's sturdy and efficient. Excellent purchase.
