This cat litter scoop says it's large size but it's not. It's more small/medium sized. Anyhow, it is very sturdy plastic, not flimsy at all. I'd buy it again.

This litter scoop does a great job sifting through clumps, and the sturdy plastic design holds up well over time. The holes are just the right size to catch the waste while letting the clean litter fall through. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. My only complaint is that the handle could be a bit longer to make it more comfortable to use, especially for deeper litter boxes. Overall, it’s a durable and efficient scoop for keeping the litter box clean, and it’s definitely worth the price despite the short handle!

We switched to using wood pellets for our litter. These scoops do the job for regular litter, but not really too well for the pellets. The slots would have to be bigger. Not the product's fsult that we bought litter that doesn't work with the scoop.We did figure out a way to make them work on the end.We are going back to wood shavings, rather than the pellets. The pellets do a good job of cancelling out urin smell, but not the other. So it doesn't work for us if we have to run and scoop wvery time one of our 3 cats feels nature calling.Wood shavings are much better at controlling the smell and are cheap enough for us to just chuck out the whole contents of the litterbox every day.$16 buys 10 cubic feet if wood shavings and that lasts us about 2 months with 3 cats and 4 litter boxes. In case anyone wants to know.

My cat Muffins died years ago. But his soul lives on. I suffered greatly from the grief of his death for approximately four years and 37 days. I visited my local Shaman who’s 25 and lives in his mom’s basement. He guided me to a Tupperware bin of peen-shaped mushrooms growing under a heat lamp. He grabbed a baggy of them that he had dried up and wrote “1/4 oz” on the label. The shaman ground the contents of the bag into a chunky powder and made me a disgusting smoothie. The shaman blindfolded me and laid me down on his cot. The following hours turned into what felt like an eternity. I was visited by the spirit of Muffins. He told me that I could let go of my grief because he has moved on to a higher plane of existence. I was finally at peace. Muffins handed me a golden scepter and told me to take it back to Earth and not let go of it until I was home. I passed through the higher dimensions beyond human understanding and journeyed back to the world as we know it. All the while gripping the golden scepter as not to lose it. When I came to, I awoke on the cot. And in my hand was this, our scoop for the cat box. The shaman insisted it was his and I had taken it from his hand while cleaning his own cat box. I reluctantly returned it to him and went to Amazon on bought one just like it. Muffins forgives me for not buying the specific one that he handed to me from the shaman. Because when I’m feeling low or start to miss him again. His spirit visits my dreams, poops in his old cat box, and leaves it for me to clean up in the morning. And then i am at peace again.

It says large but it is very small for a scooper. Better than using your hands and the plastic is actually more durable than other plastic scoopers. Keep in mind it’ll come with a product sticker placed over the holes. It don’t come off easy. I ended up cutting the holes out. See picture

For the time being, this scooper functions better than my larger scoopers. It is also sturdier than the blue plastic scooper that has a tendency to bend when downward pressure is applied. It is also lighter to handle than the aluminum scooper that is heavy even when empty. Granted, I have small hands so this scooper fits and feels more natural giving me more control in the corners and speed in my movements in the boxes. The shovel part and slots are adequate for shifting between small & large clumps in the aluminum litter pans that contained Tidy Cat’s light weight litter. I also tested it in one of the plastic litter pans that contains Dr Elseys Cat Attract (a heavier clumping litter) and those difficult pee clumps or sticky pancake residue that adheres to the sides and bottom was also handled pretty easily. What can I say? It doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel to it like my other plastic one and it does not bend under pressure. Trust me, I have 5 large male cats & 1 medium female who have no problem providing different size and weight samples to be collected. Overall, my husband loves the metal one (he has big hands), but I love this scooper for how it feels, what it does, and the price. For me, it’s comfortable to use and easy to wash & dry PLUS… it’s got a built in hook for storage! 5-stars! It’s purr-fect! Too soon to tell on durability, but will update the posting in the event of any change.
