The scoop is metal, its well made, its very lightweight, and the long thin metal handle will go long before the scoop ever does. It all fits together nice and tight, so no wobble or wiggling when you have it extended to pick up waste. For my chicken coop it will work just fine as an extra scoop, but was hoping it would be a little better with litter boxes as I was hoping it was something my mother could use to clean hers out. It works, but the scoop is a bit wide for a litter box, and the tines are just a bit far apart for crumbly litter. Clumps it has no problem with, and the scoop being metal makes it easy and convenient to scrape the box bottom, I just wish it were scaled down just a bit.

This is wonderful for cleaning my coops. I have a coop with a removable tray that is so flimsy, it makes cleaning harder to use it. So I got this and it was so easy to use. I like the extendable length (especially since I hope to build a bigger coop and will need to reach further). It didn't bend with the weight of anything. It picked up the shavings super easily and got into corners well. Honestly, this was a game changer for me.If you have something similar, I doubt you need this. However, if you don't have anything to clean your coops, this is great!

I got this because my husband has bad knees and does not like to kneel when cleaning the litter boxes. I thought it could save his back a little. I love that it comes with 4 different attachments and extends to like 4 feet or something. I do wish the slots were slightly closer together to pick up smaller pieces of litter and whatnot but I'd say it does exactly what it's supposed to do! I definitely recommend it!

This adjustable length litter scoop is such a back saver. With limited mobility cleaning out the litter box has been a grueling task, not to mention the dust or smell from being close to it. With this long scoop I can easily clean it out without hurting myself and I don’t have to wear a mask anymore either. The length can be adjusted to any height and the stainless steel means it will last a long time.

EXPAWLORER Cat Litter Scoop (22"-52.3", Black, Brand: Visit the EXPAWLORER Store)- Should work okay for a chicken coup scoop. Don't take my word as gospel though; I don't own chickens. I got it for the many cat boxes that always need sifting. I was thinking ah a longer handle, sounds wonderful. And it is, except the scoop is much large than I was thinking. That makes it awkward to use in several of the average to smaller sized boxes. It's okay but still not quite what I was searching for.
