Nice basic doorbell. Simple black plastic design with a white button. The LED light does constantly stay on but is barely noticeable during the day. The blue LED really stand out at night though. Now there's no way people will tell me that they couldn't find my doorbell.

That blue light is bright! Love the blue at night, better than the old orangey-yellow one it replaced!

Perfect replacement for my wall-mounted garage door opener! The cover on my old button broke recently and I took a chance on this one.I am glad I did as it was an exact match (my old one had a red light but I am liking this blue one better).I shut off the power at the box and it took 30 seconds to wire this up.As others have stated, if the button works but the light doesn't illuminate (mine didn't), switch the position of the wires and it should work just fine (mine does).

This button works great for our garage door. It was easy to install and looks much better than the old one. The blue light is great for finding the button in the dark.

Installed no problem, hooked 2 wires onto screws; works. Some reviews had problems; may have to switch wires between the screws and retry. Only gave 4 star as switch needs U slot cut into side to feed wires through. Body is soft rubberized plastic, so you can cut out slot using Dremel, file, etc. Unit has good solid spring that pushes back when you push the switch.

I used this button as a replacement for a very old single button garage door button that needed a glow-up, so what better way to do that than adding a button with an actual light. My first attempt to install the wiring on the two contact screws triggered the door right away upon contact and the button glowed a bright blue. But then when I pressed a second time to close the door, it would not engage the door. So then I took the wires off the contacts and simply reversed the orientation of white on top and black on bottom, and now the door button works to both open and close but the blue light is OFF. So....this isn't cool. Am I doing something wrong? I assumed that the garage signal wasn't single direction. What would cause this?

I originally touched the wires to the screws to make sure they'd light up. The first button didn't light up, the second did. When I went to wire the second one, it didn't work! This drove me crazy! Then, out of desperation, I tried reversing the wires and both buttons worked. It's a simple doorbell button, polarity shouldn't matter, but it does on these. So if yours doesn't light up, simply reverse the wires and it should work.I mounted two of these, side by side, to control my garage doors. They work perfectly. I love the blue LED, it's very bright, looks fantastic!
