This was a great price and worked on my 10 year old Golden Recliner. The motor is still working on this chair and I use it almost daily. I just sent it out to have it recovered. I have gotten great service from this chair.

The replacement remote controller looks very similar to the remote included when I bought the chair. The replacement remote operates the motor functions just fine. The original remote buttons light-up with blue color, this replacement remote buttons light-up bright white, so they are brighter than the original remote.Since the original remote on my chair is installed through the side pocket, and the cable is threaded to the underside chair frame and stapled between fabric and a cardboard strip enroute to the respective 5-pin plug-in near the motor, I wasn't going to take the fabric pocket apart and remove staples. I unplugged the original remote and plugged-in the replacement remote. I then ran the new cable along-side the original remote cable using zip-ties to prevent the cable from getting pinched between any arms or brackets. Since I didn't thread the new remote under the side-pocket, I just ran it up along-side the chair and under the right-side hinged arm. The cable was so short on the replacement remote I can no longer hold the remote in my hand comfortably as I sit. The new remote is now nestled between my leg and the arm rest. Bottom-line: The cable needs to be at least another 12"-18" longer. Other than the short cable, the remote works fine.
